Lazy Sunshine Days - Pergola On The Roof

Yesterday afternoon Pippa & I, headed off to White City to meet with Katie & Kirby and visit the beautiful Pergola On The Roof.

A short walk from White City tube station and opposite Westfields, you wouldn't assume on the top of a multistory car park roof would be this hidden gem that makes you feel like you've traveled to the likes of Malibu, California.

We were blessed with the sunshine, so were able to sit on a table not under the veranda and chat all things blogging and YouTube whilst sipping on some cocktails and tucking into some yummy food.

Pergola on the Roof has two bars and then four pop up food huts; Patty & Bun, Breddos Tacos, "Salt & Sauce" from Bonnie Gull and 8 Hoxton Square. I opted for some skinny fries along with a deep fried pickle from "Salt & Sauce" which was washed down by a frozen margarita from one of the two bars. They were honestly the best skinny fries I've had in a long while and well the battered pickle was just delicious; I want to eat all my pickles that way from now on.

The whole vibe was so chilled and I could have definitely spent hours just enjoying the sunshine and cocktails if my bank balance allowed.

After a good gossip though it was time to head back down to the muggy streets of West London and the real life hell that is the Central Line back home.

If you are looking for somewhere to head with your gal pals for a drink or somewhere cool to take a date, then I would 100% recommend heading to Pergola on the Roof, or check out their other location in Paddington. It doesn't break the bank balance too much with a cocktail costing around £7.50 or a soft drink for £2.50; food starts from £2 at the various huts.

Have you checked out Pergola on the Roof?
Let me know in the comments.
