Lifestyle | 5 TV Shows I've Loved Lately

I love watching TV; out of my friends I'm the one that can spend a whole weekend curled up in a duvet, binge watching a series on Netflix. As the colder, darker nights draw in I thought I'd share 5 shows that I've loved watching as of late.

1. Parks and Recreation
I started watching this by accident and then before I knew it I was laughing away and had fallen in love with Ben! In summary Parks and Rec is about the parks and recreation department in Pawnee, Indiana; mostly focusing on Leslie Knope (played by Amy Poehler) and how she wants to make the town a better place. If you love The Office you will love this show; it's great to put on after a hard day at work as you don't need to concentrate too much and the LOLs will just make your day better.
Parks and Recreation is available to stream on Amazon Prime.

2. Rob & Chyna
We all know I'm a sucker for anything Kardashian related; so when I saw that Rob Kardashian was bringing out a show with his new girlfriend Blac Chyna I was all over watching this strange pairing. It's your basic follow around reality show, that shows you in the insights to life as the black sheep of the Kardashians as well as his new fiancee who will be carrying on the Kardashian name. It's funny, dramatic but ultimately a guilty pleasure TV choice.
Rob & Chyna is on E! every Sunday at 8pm or you can watch on HayU.

3. Cold Feet
Cold Feet was one of my favourite shows when I was in my teens, so when I heard they were bringing it back I was apprehensive but excited to see what the show would be like 12 years on. OMG I love it, to see how all their lives have played out, especially Adam after becoming a single dad. I particularly like how they are playing out the depression storyline for Pete in such a perfect, gentle way, that highlights it can happen to anyone. If you love shows that have romance, drama and comedy then this is a great one for you.
Cold Feet is on ITV on Mondays at 9pm.

4. Stranger Things
I mean what kind of post would this be if I didn't mention Stranger Things? I pretty much watched this show in 48 hours; it just had everything that I look for in a TV show. Tension, mystery, romance, comedy as well as keeping you on the edge of your seat whilst holding a cushion over your eyes. In summary Stranger Things is about a young boy who goes missing; however his mum and friends believe he is alive in an alternate universe. Whilst trying to find him his friends meet a strange girl called Eleven who ends up making things even stranger. The show is set in the 80s and I love the fashion and subtle references to 80s films; the kids in it are also amazing!
Stranger Things is available to watch on Netflix.

5. Gilmore Girls
If you're looking for a show that has light hearted comedy as well as a sprinkle of romance and drama then Gilmore Girls has got you covered. Following the mother daughter relationship of Loreali and Rory Gilmore, through their daily struggles as Rory wants to achieve her dreams of attending an Ivy League College and Loreali prove that she can be a successful single mum. Gilmore Girls is a great show to put on after a long day at work; you don't need to concentrate too much and there's guaranteed laughs.
Gilmore Girls is available to watch on Netflix.

What has been your favourite show lately? Have you watched any of my 5 favourites?
Let me know in the comments.

Until Next Time...
