Beauty | New In My Make Up Bag - October Edition

There's nothing better than giving your make up bag a revamp with new products; especially as I'm always writing on here about beauty products. So each month I do take a little trip to Boots or Superdrug to have a little nose and see what's new.

This month there seemed to be an array of Autumn releases, that I couldn't leave Boots without; so let me share what has made it into my make up bag this month.

Maybelline Lash Sensational Waterproof is one of my all time fave mascaras, so when my current tube was drying up I knew another one had to be repurchased. However this time I went for the black and neon blue packaging.

Foundations are something I'm constantly trying as I'm still trying to find the perfect one for me; I decided to give the Rimmel Fresher Skin foundation a whirl after seeing a few good things about it. I'm not too keen on the packaging as it reminds me of being 14 and using Maybelline's Dream Matte Mousse; however the actual formula is leaving my skin looking glowing and may now be my go to day time foundation.

Cream Eye Shadows are always so handy; especially at 6am when you can just about open your eyes. I've used the Maybelline 24hr Colour Tattoo shadows before and really liked the formula; so decided to pick up the shades Permanent Taupe and Pink Gold. These are great shades for Autumn time and are also really blendable if you are wanting to use a base shade.

I'm always picking up new brow products as I'm forever on the hunt of making my brows super quick and easy to do. I decided to give the Maybelline Brow Drama Sculpting Brow Mascara in Medium Brown a whirl; brow gels/mascaras do make doing your brows quicker. However I've found that I have to still fill in with a pencil slightly to get that extra definition.

Another re purchase this month was Soapy & Glory Solar Powder; this is a great matte bronzer which is super for contouring. I tend to use this everyday as there is no shimmer and creates a nice clean contour shade.

Finally I purchased a few Real Techniques Bold Metals brushes; one cause they look great in photos and two as I've heard such good things about them. I picked up two eyeshadow brushes and a flat contour brush.

What's new in your make up bag this month? Have you tried any of the new products in my make up bag?
Let me know in the comments below.

Until Next Time...
