Beauty | Summer Favourites

So it's been a while since I've done my monthly beauty favourites; so I thought instead I would share my Summer Beauty Favourites with you all.

First up I have been loving the Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Face Palette (along with the rest of the beauty blogging world.) This palette is just beautiful and has been my go to for highlight and blush during the summer months; I've been mixing both the highlighter colours as well to get that ultimate highlighter on fleek.

I've really been liking wearing lipgloss instead of lipsticks during the last few months and of course I've been using the Kylie Cosmetics Lipgloss in the shade Like. It's the perfect dark nude gloss and looks great when you've got a summer glow.

Whilst I was in America I picked up the Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Moisturiser to wear during the day as I wanted something with SPF in as well as something that gave me light coverage. I love this stuff; it has great coverage to cover any redness etc as well as being hydrating for the skin. Perfect for when it's too hot for foundation.

For helping me keep that summer glow I've been using the Bourjois Delice de Poudre Bronzing Powder*; it's a great matte bronzer that is perfect for an all over bronze or if you're just wanting to contour. I also love the tropical themed packaging on this edition, making it perfect for summer!

The Zoella Sweet Inspirations Body Fondant has been a product that I've used so much for night outs. It gives you that perfect amount of golden shimmer as well as smelling amazing. I generally put this across my collar bone and down my shins, just to add a little bit of shimmer there. The packing on this is also super cute and I love the little poof you get with it.

A blush/illuminating powder that I've been using pretty much everyday is this gem from Milani in the shade Beautys Touch. This is a great blush for just a subtle rosy glow, which is what we all want for during the summer months. Also how amazing is the flower detailing in the actual product?

Beachy waves is what summer hair is all about, so this gem from John Frieda has been my favourite for helping create that I've just rolled out of bed look. It's a sea salt spray so smells like the beach but it also does help to create that beachy look.

The Maybelline Master Prime Eyeshadow Base has been a firm favourite for keeping my eyeshadow in place; especially during the last few weeks as it's been quite warm. It's a great creamy base that really stops your eyeshadow from transferring or smudging, something that I often have problems with.

For general day to day lip colour I've been really loving Too Faced Melted Lipstick in Nude; it's a perfect pink nude that looks great with any make up look. What makes it better is that it stays on for quite a while as it is a matte finish that isn't too drying on the lips also.

Finally the Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Shower Jelly has been my go to shower gel over the summer months. I love the lime scent and it really makes me think of summer as well as reminding me of a holiday to Ibiza a few years ago. It lathers up really well and also because of the jelly texture it is really cooling, which is perfect if you perhaps have sunburn.

What's been your ultimate favourite product during summer?

Travel | Las Vegas Photo Diary

Las Vegas is my favourite place on Earth I've decided! I could spend a month there and still not see everything I want to.

So what did we do in 4 nights, quite a bit really. Once we checked into our hotel, Mandalay Bay we decided to do a gondola ride at the Venetian Hotel as well as getting one of the many Fat Tuesday cocktails. We started off the first night by heading to downtown Vegas, Freemont Street. This the original Vegas, where the likes of Elvis and Frank Sinatra would be found gambling. We spent the night gambling in Golden Nugget as well as watching the Light Show that is on every evening.

The next day we hit the outlets and burnt some plastic, I picked up the most amazing Michael Kors bag for a bargain price. Then it was back to our hotel to get ready to see Britney Spears! Okay Britters did mime the whole show, but I honestly didn't care I was up dancing the whole time she was on.

We spent one morning just lounging by the pool at our hotel before heading to Wynn Hotel for the lunch buffet. Honestly you will not want to eat for at least 12 hours after eating the amazing food at the buffet. That evening we spent more time gambling and wandering around some of the hotels.

The last full day we had, we decided to hit up one of the famous pool parties; we went with Wet Republic at MGM Grand. It was the best day, I danced so much and I'll be honest got way too drunk that when we went home I passed out and didn't make it out that evening to Hakkasan! Whoops!

I can't wait to get back to Vegas and perhaps stay a little longer this time round to try and fit in all the things I haven't managed to do in both my trips there so far.

Have you been to Vegas? What was your favourite part? Who would be your dream person in concert to see in Vegas?

Lifestyle | What I Got For My Birthday

A few weeks ago I turned another year older *insert crying emoji face* and this year I asked my mum and friends to actually buy me presents this time instead of giving me money as I just end up spending it on "adult things" such as train fares and Ubers to get me home.

So I thought I would share with you some of the lovely gifts that I was lucky enough to receive. Let's start with the important stuff, make up! I actually picked up the make up bits I wanted whilst I was in America and then gave them to my mum to hide away and wrap up for my birthday. The main make up item of course is the Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Pop Palette, as you can see it's an ultimate dream! I'll be sharing more on that in another post soon! I also was given Too Faced Melted Lipstick in the shade Nude; this is such a perfect pink toned nude that I'm loving using. Finally the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz, I got a mini version of this for Christmas and fell in love so knew that the full size version would be a welcome addition to my make up collection.

Skincare wise I received some items from brands I haven't tried before but I'm excited to give them a whirl. I got the mini version of Fresh Soy Cleanser and Rose Face Mask. I love minis as I'm always away for weekends and they come in handy when in travelling. I also got two Dr Jart+ sheet face masks; the Pore Minimalist and Brighten and Infusion mask. I love sheet masks as they are a lot more tidier to put on than other face masks.

And finally the last few bits I got; I got a large Yankee Candle in Summer Scoop which smells amazing and I can't wait to actually light it soon. I also got a selection of votive Yankee Candles in a summer scent collection. My best buddies actually gave me money, which I used as a deposit towards 4 nights away with my best friend in February to Tenerife! The last thing I opened from my Mum, was this stunning pair of rose gold earrings by Follie Follie. Whilst I was on holiday I unfortunately I had my jewellery stolen so this was a real surprise as I wasn't expecting my mum to get me something like this.

What would you like for your birthday this year? Have you tried any of the beauty items I was given?

Lifestyle | Gifts for Dad*

Buying gifts for the guys in your life, I find to be pretty challenging. So when Ocean Loans got in touch and asked me to try and find a gift for my Dad, I started panicking.

However after having a search on notonthehighstreet.com, I manged to find some personalised items that I knew would be perfect for my dad.

First we have a personalised golf towel from Big Stitch, I picked the grey colour with darker stitching as I wasn't sure what colour golf bag my Dad has so thought a plain colour like this would be a good choice. I also picked some initial rose gold cuff links from PenelopeTom, I thought this were super original and would be something that can be kept forever. Finally the card is from Ruby Wren Designs,I thought this was super cute and kept that personalised touch throughout the gifts.

What's the best present you've ever bought your Dad?
