Travel | San Francisco Photo Diary

San Francisco is quaint city, filled with beauty houses, cafes and hills, lots of hills! We spent our three days here wandering the streets, picking out are dream houses as well as eating so much food.

We stayed right by Union Square, which is the shopping district, meaning this was great for running to Walgreens or Starbucks for last minute snacks or coffee to make the jet lag less painful. Three nights was the perfect amount to see and do pretty much everything we wanted, we went to Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39. Where unfortunately the amount of seals there didn't live up to the photos we'd all seen.

Unfortunately tickets to Alcatraz were all booked up, with it being 4th July weekend so that meant we could only see it from a distance. With the weather also not being to great, views of the Golden Gate Bridge were limited but still impressive to see.

Have you been to San Francisco? What was your favourite thing that you saw?

Beauty | The AM & PM Routine Tag

I found this tag whilst searching through the explore page on Bloglovin' and now I can't even remember who's blog it was from! However I thought this was a nice little tag for you guys to get to know my morning and evening routines.

AM

What's your morning beauty routine?
Generally I will just cleanse my face with Ultrabland from Lush, if I'm having a bad breakout week, and follow this up with their Tea Tree Tone. Or alternatively I'll use Soap & Glory 3 in 1 Facial Wash as it wakes me up.

What's for Breakfast?
Breakfast for the last few weeks has been a slim fast shake in a bid to loose a few pounds before my holiday. However generally I would either have porridge or yogurt with fruit.

Tea or Coffee?
Coffee all the time. I can't function till I have some caffeine in me and this usually comes in the form of a Starbucks when I get off the tube.

How long does it take you to get out the door?
Weekdays I give myself 40 minutes to get ready as I tend to shower and wash my hair in the evenings, cause I'm all about that extra time in bed.

What's your go to makeup look for a fuss free morning?
Foundation, concealer, a bit of bronzer and blush and then brows, an eyeshadow crayon and some mascara.

PM

Whats your evening beauty routine?
Evening time, I generally treat my skin by taking my make up off with Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm. I find this really gets all my make up as well as that London dirt that sticks to your face; yeah pollution I'm taking to you! I will then either use Pixi Glow Tonic as my toner or Lush Tea Tree Water again. Finally I finish with BRYT Skincare Serum and Pixi Beauty Sleep Cream.

Snack Time! What's in the Bowl?
Generally if I'm craving something sweet after dinner I will grab an Alpen Light bar as it has some chocolate on it. However if it's the weekend and I'm being a bit naughty I will tend to either have some Haribo Minions or Wispa Bites.

How do you unwind and prep for bed?
I tend to stick something on on Netflix, usually it's How I Met Your Mother or Big Bang Theory. I like to have something on that I don't have to concentrate on, if you know what I mean. I'll then put on my pjs and get cosy in bed.

Cozy Up! What are you wearing?
PJs, I have a few sets from Victoria's Secret that are just so comfy and cosy. If I'm really wanting to get cozy then I'll put on my Grand Canyon sweatshirt.

What are some things you do before hitting the hay?
I'll put on some lip balm and hand cream; then I generally end up checking social media. Of course the vicious circle of checking Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat happen and the next thing I know it's 12.30am and I'm falling half asleep with my phone in my hand.

What are some of your key things you do in the morning or evenings?

Travel | USA West Coast Trip

As you're reading this I'm probably wide awake with jet lag in my bed in San Francisco. Yes I'm Stateside again with 3 of best chums that I met through travelling last year!

Unlike last year where I did Trek America, this year we've gone solo and are doing the trip on our own! The flights and hotels we did book all together through a travel agent as I knew that the price would be a bit better as we've got internal flights.

So where am I going, what am I doing? Well after spending 4th July in San Fran, we will be heading off to Vegas for 4 nights to see Britney Spears as well as go to some pool parties. Then finally ending up in LA to do some shopping and a day at Disneyland!

I am hoping to vlog my trip and get them up on my YouTube channel as this is what the majority of you on Twitter wanted. I will be snapchatting also, so give me a follow on there as well!

I thought I'd share with you some of my bucket list things I want to do on this trip!

  • Visit The Golden Gate Bridge, ideally at sunset to get some amazing photos.
  • Eat an amazing doughnut from Mrs Holmes Bakehouse.
  • Watch 4th July Fireworks near The Bay in San Fran.
  • Ride a Trolley.
  • Do one of the rides at the top of the Stratosphere.
  • Go on a gondola ride through the Venetian Hotel.
  • Drink some Fat Tuesday cocktails.
  • Take some amazing pictures at Santa Monica Pier.
  • Do a Hollywood Homes tour, just for the LOLz.
  • Visit Calabasas to try and find my BFF Khloe Kardashian.

What content you would you like to see from my trip when I get back?
