Beauty | February Favourites

It's time for monthly beauty favourites once again...

This month I've actually really struggled to find some beauty products that I've really loved as I've pretty much been using the same products as last month as well as making some new purchases this last week that I haven't tried out as of yet. So what made the cut in February?

Make Up Revolution Blush Palette in Sugar & Spice.
I've been reaching for this blush palette pretty much every day and have actually been really enjoying using the darker shades of blush just to add some depth and defination to my cheeks. They are all really pigmented so you literally only need a sweep on your cheeks to get some colour.

Bourjois Air Mat Foundation.
When I first used this foundation I actually really hated the texture and the finish it had on my skin; however I decided to try and give it another whirl and I'm not sure if my skin is a little different this time round but I really like it now. The foundation is really light and gives just the right amount of coverage if you are just wanting something for everyday use then I would give this a try.

Lush Tea Tree Toner Water.
I've been on a mission to try and really clear my skin up lately so decided to go back to my old trusty Tea Tree Toner from Lush. This really does clear up blemishes and spots; and has totally clear up the never ending breakout I appeared to be having. It's great for removing your cream cleanser as well as if you've had a facemask it will remove any leftover parts without being too harsh on your skin.

Living Proof Perfect Hair Day.
Who knew having short hair would be such a challenge to style everyday? However with this leave in styling cream from Living Proof I am now having a perfect hair day, almost every day! Just a small bit of the cream on wet hair and then blow dried leaves my hair feeling smooth and hydrated as well as it having volume.

Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Lolita II.
I know another nude lipstick in my collection; however the Kat Von D formulas of the everlasting liquid lipsticks are to die for. They are what they say, everlasting! I can swipe this on my lips at 6.30am before I leave for work and it will withstand 2 cups of coffee, porridge and maybe even through my lunch! This shade is a darker brown nude, almost something similar that you would find Kylie Jenner wearing.

What have you been loving in February? Is there any of my favourites that you are wanting to try?

Lifestyle | IceBar London #BloggersBelowZero

Two weeks ago, on a windy Monday night after work I went on a little night out thanks to Lauren from LDN Meet Up & blog Blonde Vision and Tom from IceBar London; for #BloggersBelowZero.

When this invite appeared in my inbox towards the end of last year it was a definite yes from me to visit. I had always wanted to visit the IceBar here in London as I've previously been to the one in Amsterdam and wanted to see how it compared. It was also a great excuse to catch up with some of best blogging pals as well as make some new ones.

When we arrived at the venue itself we were given an ice breaker (pun intended) to get all us bloggers chatting to one another as well as a coloured wrist band that would divide us into groups, for when we actually went into the IceBar itself a little later on. We made our way down to the basement where we had our own private bar and seating area and were introduced to the marketing manager Tom; who gave us a brief overview of what the IceBar was as well as being quite inspiring and thankful to us bloggers. We enjoyed a few cocktails and chatted some more before it was time to finally head upstairs to the actual IceBar itself!

Cape placed on and well only one glove, as I actually got given two left gloves, we entered the Ice Bar for our 40 minute slot. It was literally breathtaking and I don't just mean from being in minus 5 temperatures; the detail in the carvings, to the seats and to the cocktails that come in glasses made from the ice; it was insane. We had another cocktail whilst in the IceBar that all fitted into the "Rock" theme that is currently taking place. Each year the ice is transformed into another theme and new cocktails thought up to go along with it.

Once the 40 minutes were up, it was back out into the warmth and back down to the other bar where I spent the rest of the night chatting away to other bloggers and sipping on cocktails. Big thanks to Lauren and Tom for organising the event.

If you are looking for something a little different to do if your visiting London or for a special occasion then I would highly recommend visiting the IceBar. The IceBar experience costs from £13.50 per person and includes a cocktail and thermal cape & gloves. There is also a restaurant, so you can definitely make more of a night of it with a meal or a few more drinks.

Have you visited IceBar London? Or have you visited any other of the IceBars globally? Is it on your must see list?

Beauty | January Favourites

Time to share my beauty favourites in January! There was a fair few different products that I've been enjoying using this month; ranging from hair care, perfume and of course make up!

Victoria's Secret Bombshell Perfume & Body Lotion
Bombshell is my favourite perfume of all time, so I was super happy at Christmas when I received a box set from my Nan containing a full size perfume, mini perfume, shower gel and body lotion. I love layering up on a scent to make it last all day so have been using the  body lotion when I get out the shower and then spritzing the perfume on me throughout the day, as I also have the rollerball version which is totally handbag friendly.

Aussie Miracle Recharge Colour Lightweight Conditioner
I totally forgot I had this stashed away in my haircare drawer until my Sister borrowed it one day and left it out on my dresser. I love that it's lightweight as my hair is quite thick so sometimes products really weigh it down making it look greasy and drab, especially as I have a bob now so I'm constantly touching my hair.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Illuminator in Peach Nectar
This amazing highlighter has been used nearly everyday in January to give my cheeks a subtle peachy glow. It's extremely pigmented and I hear it's one of Khloe Kardashian's favourites, so of course it's in mine! I prefer a peach toned highlight on a day to day basis as it doesn't look to OTT for work or that I'm ready to hit up a bar on a night out.

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer
Concealer has been my best friend through out January, I seem to be suffering with an insane non stop breakout at the moment so I've been using this cult product from Collection to cover those bad boys up. It's quite a heavy concealer so is great for blemishes or scars etc.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel & Brow Wiz in Chocolate
For Christmas my Mum bought both my sister and I these travel eyebrow kits from ABH whilst we were in New York; since Christmas day I've been obsessed with Brow Wiz and I'm so sad that I've used it all up, pretty much already. It is so great for filling in your brows and it's safely on my wish list to purchase a full size one as soon as possible. The brow gel is also super and really sets your brows in place, keeping those stray hairs in place as well as your brows on all day.

Maybelline The Blushed Nudes Eyeshadow Palette
During the week at work I like to keep my eyeshadow simple and on a more neutral look; so this little palette from Maybelline has been perfect! It contains shades ranging from blushed pinks to light browns; meaning you can really get that natural look but still wear eyeshadow.

What has been your favourite beauty product this week? Have you tried any of my favourites?
