Travel | Trek America Countdown #7

Yes I know, I'm super late getting this post uploaded but life just got busy and I didn't have the time to write. I'm here now though with countdown number 7 for my Trek America trip!

I know I say it every month to you guys, but I can't believe how quick it is coming round. Only 1 and half months left to go!

I thought I'd share something a little different in preparation for the trip this time round and give you a list of the things I'd like to do/see in each place I'll be stopping off at on the way. At let's face lists make me extremely happy, I can't get through life without a list.

 
New York
- See the Statue of Liberty
- Watch the sunset from the top of The Rockefeller Centre
- Walk across the Brooklyn Bridge
 
Philadelphia & Washington
- Eat a Philly Cheese Steak
- Visit The White House whilst pretending I'm as cool as Olivia Pope
- Visit the Lincoln Memorial
 
Carolinas
- Sunbathe on my first beach of the trip
- Make a s'more round the campfire
 
Charleston
- See some of the famous Plantation Houses
-Try a Charleston Navy biscuit
 
 
St Augustine & Daytona Beach
- Visit the beach & dip my toes in the ocean
- Visit the Fountain of Youth
- Ride the Ferris Wheel on Daytona Beach Pier
 
Miami
- Party like Khloe & Kourtney Kardashian
- Soak up the sun on SoBe (South Beach)
 
Key West
- Do some dolphin spotting/snorkelling
- Take in a sunset cruise
 
 
Orlando
- Visit Universal Studios
- Drink some Florida Orange Juice
 
Panama City Beach
- Enjoy the turquoise water on the sandy white beaches
- Ride a jet ski
 
New Orleans
- Do a Voodoo & Graveyard Tour
- Take a float tour down The Mississippi River
- Tuck into some jambalaya
- Visit a Jazz club
 
Louisiana & Texas
- Take a swamp tour
- Go actual Line Dancing
- Go horseback riding with some real life cowboys
 
Carlsbad Caverns National Park
- Visit the caves and see the amazing limestone stalactites
- Check out the bats at night who only fly left out of the caves
 
Santa Fe & Roswell
- Check out the UFO Museum
- Try and find my own Troy from High School Musical (well I'm kinda near Albuquerque) 
 
 
Colorado Rockies
- Visit the Hot Springs
- Do some hiking
 
Arches National Park
- Hike one of the many hiking trails on offer to see the spectacular red rocks
- Float trip down the Colorado River
 
Monument Valley
- Take a photo at the place Forrest Gump stopped running
- Take a Navajo guided jeep tour
- Stay in one of the Navajo built shelters overnight
 
Grand Canyon National Park
- Take a helicopter ride over the Park
- Hike up to get even greater views
 
 
Lake Powell & Antelope Canyon
- Go for a swim in Lake Powell
- Take amazing photos at Horseshoe bend
 
Bryce Canyon
- Enjoy 4th July in the amazing scenery Bryce Canyon has to offer
 - Find out more about Hoodoos
 
Zion National Park
- Hike to Angel's Landing
- Be amazed that I made it all that way to Angel's Landing
 
 
Las Vegas
- Take a photo under the legendary Las Vegas sign
- Try not to recreate The Hangover
- Watch the fountains at The Bellagio whilst thinking I'm in Oceans Eleven
- Go on the rides at The Stratosphere
- Gamble a little bit of money
 
Los Angeles
- Visit the walk of fame
- Go shopping at The Grove
- Enjoy the last bit of sunshine of the trip
 
 
And that's pretty much everywhere! I'm looking forward to coming back home and seeing how much I've ticked off my USA bucket list.
