Lifestyle | Bloggers Love London Fashion Week

Last Tuesday I rushed out of work and over to The Penthouse in Leicester Square once again for Bloggers Love, London Fashion Week Gifting Lounge. I met up with ShivonApril & Chloe when I got there.
The two floors of the event where heaving with bloggers all scrabbling to meet the various companies that were on show as well as networking amongst each other. It was a bit overwhelming this time as it was extremely busy and you did have to fight to get to the front to see some brands. However it was a good evening and I really enjoyed the fashion show as well as speaking to some of the brands! Big thanks to the lovely ladies at Fuffy's Fantasies who gifted me the most amazing bra that I now need to find somewhere to wear it!

It was a really good evening and I had a lovely time chatting to people, but with the amount of people there I found this one quite over whelming especially as some people seemed to only be there for the freebies!!
However I do love attending these events as it's a great way to network and meet other bloggers that you may have only ever spoke to on Twitter, so I won't let this experience stop me from attending the next Bloggers Love event.

Have you attended a Bloggers Love event? What do you think of this type of event?
Let me know in the comments!

Beauty | Lush Haul

I can't believe we are half way through September now! The cold, dark nights are starting to draw in meaning that I love nothing more than lighting some autumn/winter scented candles and treating myself to a bit of a pamper. And what better way to pamper yourself than with some Lush Cosmetics goodies!

The other week I was invited to an out of hours bloggers event at Lush, in Lakeside Shopping Centre. I got a chance to hear about all the amazing products as well as extra information regarding how they are made and what good stuff it can do for your skin. If you want to see more of this then it's included in my weekly vlog from last week.

Whilst there I was able to have a little, okay a big, shop of all the wonderous stuff that Lush has to offer. I also picked up some bits that I would have never normally thought of!
All items that were gifted by Lush have been marked with a *

Space Girl - Ocean Salt* - Dragon's Egg - Mmmelting Marshmallow Moment -     Olive Branch* - Sunnyside - Sandstone*

Ultrabland - Angels on Bare Skin* - Tea Tree Water - Dream Cream, Self Preserving* - Bubblegum - Power Emotional Brilliance*
I'm loving all the products that I bought as well as the ones Lush gifted! There is going to be some reviews in detail of some of the products from this haul as I feel like they need to be bigged up in their own special post! So stay tuned for those!

YouTube | So...? Fragrance Tag

Hey everyone,

You may remember my post on So...? New Season Fragrances, well the guys over at So...? also sent me The Fragrance Tag to complete over on my YouTube channel.

So head on over to check out my answers to The Fragrance Tag.

Below are the questions if you do fancy completing the tag yourself.

1. How many perfumes/body sprays etc do you own?
2. What smell brings back the happiest memories to mind?
3. You are only allowed to own one So...? scent; which would you choose, and why?
4. What smell do you love on a guy?
5. Wearing the same fragrance as your friends, yay or nay?
6. What food smell would you happily wear as a perfume?
7. If you had to wear just one type of fragrance for the rest of your life, would you prefer to smell
sweet or musky?
8. If you could create a So...? fragrance what would you call it and what notes would you include?
9. Your friend borrows your perfume and returns it pretty much empty. Do you a) Just pretend you
haven't noticed b) Ask them to repurchase it or c) Secretly do the same to something of theirs?
10. You’re on the bus and someone next to you sprays a scent that you really hate. Do you a) Make
it really obvious by having a fake coughing fit b) Move as far away as possible c)Spray some of your
own?

Get answering those questions and tag me on Twitter @lolaslittleblog if you do so I can have a little nose of your answers.

The colder, darker nights are drawing in now meaning that Autumn is finally starting. However the bright blistering sunshine we are having at the moment seems to say otherwise. I love all the fashion that Autumn brings, chunky knits, ankle boots, tartan and leathers. It just gets me all excited.

Today is a wishlist of what I've been lusting over when looking in the shops and online as of late.

Black Tartan Check Reversible Oversized Scarf - New Look - (£14.99)
ASOS Reversible Cape - ASOS - (£25.00)
Ultimate Faux Leather Bike Jacket - Topshop - (£58)
All I can say is gimmie, gimmie, gimmie!! I love them all and wish I could give them a good home in my wardrobe but I am on a strict spending ban due to my America trip!

Fashion | LFW IN MODA FASHION SHOWCASE

So last night was a first for me, I managed to get a last minute invite from Blogging Gals to attend In Moda Fashion Showcase for London Fashion Week at Blueberry Bar in Shoreditch. Cue my panic Thursday night trying desperately trying to find something in my wardrobe to wear. I did finally find an outfit, after the contents of my wardrobe were splashed across my floor.

Here's a few (okay quite a lot) of photos from the catwalk, I couldn't stay the whole night unfortunately as I did go on my own and I started to get a little anxious (damn anxiety problems) but what I did see was amazing.

The pieces were all amazing, my favourites would have to be the checked pastel dress, the metalic collar dress and the emerald green dress. All pieces that I could see fitting into my current wardrobe next spring/summer season.

Which piece is your favourite? What do you think of what's emerging on the LFW catwalks this season? What trends will you be wearing?
Let me know in the comments.

Beauty | Rush Hair L'Oreal LFW Tecni Art Range*

And so London Fashion Week starts again. I love this time of year, the hustle and bustle of all the events around London makes for a great atmosphere. If only I could bag myself a ticket! Instead I'll be living streaming my favourite designers catwalks from the comfort of my own bedroom in my PJs; as well as lusting over all the amazing design and how good the models look.

A model is something I will never be, at 5 ft 1" I will never meet the leggy credentials that are needed. However something that I can recreate is the amazing hairstyles that take on the catwalks each Fashion Week.

The guys over at Rush Hair gifted myself, at Bloggers Love Fashion Week,  with some of the L'Oreal Tecni Art products that have been exculsively designed and made for over LFW. Cue me trying my best to get model worthy hair at half the price

Volume Lift Spray Mousse - £8.86
The volume lift spray mousse is designed to give your roots that va va voom height required to make all those massive behive styles that seem to be treading on the catwalk this season. Just shake the can, add a little to the roots of your towel dried hair and style as usual by either blow drying or leaving to dry natural. I find that this works best by blow drying with a big round brusha getting right into the roots. The volume is great and totally adds that extra height to make you model worthy tall.

Fix Design Spray - £8.76
This has firmly become a staple in my everyday hair routine when wearing my hair up. A different take on your classic canned hairspray, it's a water style spray instead of your usual gassed sticky stuff. This stuff works! It's great for creating that slicked back look that has been taking over the fashion mags and catwalks, as well as having a firm hold. This has been a lifesaver for keeping my hair in place when rushing from working 9-6 then straight onto an event.

There is plenty more products in the LFW range by L'Oreal and I wish I could afford to have it all, as if they work just as great as these two products then I need them in my life!

Have you tried any of Rush Hair's available products? What products make your hair model worthy?

Beauty | So New Season*

Hello There,

How is everyone's week going so far? I love Wednesdays at the moment as it's Great British Bake Off day! Woo!

So today I'm giving you a little sneak peek at the new couture collection of So...? Fragrances. When I think of So...? I'm instantly taken back to my early secondary school days of wearing the body sprays and thinking I was super cool. Always a staple in my school PE bag for after working up a sweat (yeah, right I usually was the girl in the corner hiding from the ball) playing netball or rounders.

So...? have now brought out four fragrances inspired by the essences of their favourite fashion capitals. The range has London, Paris, NYC and Rio, each with it's distinctive scent and that reflects the style of each city. This is a step up from my body spray days as a spotty teen.

I've been lucky enough to have been sent the NYC and Rio fragrances to try out.

Exculsive to Superdrug - £1.99 for 75ml

So...? NYC

The NYC fragrance is detailed as the Crisp & Confident fragrance. With its fruity scents of grapefruit and mandarin as well as having a floral heart with a woody vanilla background this scent is definitely a confident one. It's quite strong on the nose so a light spray is perfect for me as I'm not usually a heavy scent person. However the fruity and floral tones are definitely right up my street and I'm certainly will be chucking this in my handbag to freshen myself up when on the go.

So...? Rio

The Rio fragrance is the Fun Loving & Full of Life fragrance of the bunch. It has top notes of mango, pineapple and melon; which I love! It really brings that Rio feel right into your bedroom in the middle of autumn. Once again a little goes a long way with this fragrance as it is quite intense on the nose. I know that when I'm wanting to get the summer scent back during the colder months this will be my go to body spray.

For £1.99 a can this body sprays are great, they do exactly what they are meant to and are perfect for if you need a little top up during the day and don't want to carry that expensive perfume you got for Christmas or your birthday in your bag. I know that one can will be firmly placed in my handbag whilst the other will be on my desk at work.

Have you tried any of the So...? Fragrances? What fragrance would suit your style?
Let me know in the comments.

Fashion | #bloggersfestival OOTD

Hi All,

So on Saturday I was lucky enough to be invited by Scarlett London to #bloggersfestival at Paramount in Central London.

Before the event itself I met up with a few lovely girlies to go have a mini photo shoot of all our outfits that we had worn.

Hat - Topshop
Shirt - H&M
Pinafore - Primark
Boots -Boohoo

Rings - LVNDR
Bag - Miss Selfridge

Photo Cred - Khrissie

I loved this pinafore look that I decided to go for, a steal at £13 it's currently in Primark so rush down there and pick one up! This will definitely be a staple for me over the Autumn/Winter season, especially with a nice collared jumper underneath a pair of thick tights. The grid print is a big print this season also.

It was such a good day and really nice to put some faces to names from Twitter. There will be more up on my YouTube channel tomorrow about the day, in my first weekly vlog, as well as some extra bits from other events I've been to last week. So make sure you are subscribed!

Did you go to #bloggersfestival? How would you style this pinafore?
Let me know in the comments.
