McBusted Vlog

Hi Everyone,

Last Friday I was lucky enough to go and see McBusted!
This was a dream come true as me and my best friend Stacey used to call ourselves McBustman when we were younger as we were obsessed with both McFly and Busted.
We have been quite lucky to go and see McFly for the last three years together so as soon as they announced this mega band we knew we had to get tickets!!

I've posted a little vlog of the evening up on my YouTube channel and would love it if all you lovely people would have a look as well as subscribing and giving it a thumbs up!!

It was one of the best concerts I've been to in ages, these guys never fail to give 100% and the atmosphere in The O2 was unreal!! So go have a look at the vlog!!

Until next time...

The 90s Tag - YouTube Video

Hey Everyone,

So I've finally posted another YouTube video, this time its a tag video with Lauren from

We talk about everything that reminds us of our childhood! From Furby to Spice Girls to SM:TV live.
Head over to my YouTube to watch and make sure to subscribe if you haven't yet.
Lola's Little Wonders, give the video a big thumbs up and make sure you leave a comment about what you loved about the 90s if you are a 90s kid!

We also filmed a video on Lauren's channel which is the Blindfolded Make Up Challenge, safe to say Lauren looked beautiful by the time I had finished!

I'm hoping to get a few more videos up but bare with me, as my laptop doesn't like editing at the moment! So BIG THANKS to Lauren who edited this video for me last minute as I was crying into my dinner last night in despair!

Let me know in the comments what videos you would like to see me film!
Until next time...

Get Ready With Me - Black & White Formal Party

Hi everyone,
I'm so sorry there was no post on Sunday!
I was dying of a hangover and the most I could do was order a pizza.
However I'm back! Today I've got a little, and I do mean little, get ready with me.
Now this was going to be my first proper YouTube video, however my camera cut out half way through and then refused to charge leaving with about 20 minutes to finish doing my make up.
So I'm going to apologise as my photos are rubbish as they were taken on my iPhone and the fact there is not many close up of my face.
Dress -
Shoes - Topshop
Bag - New Look
Bracelet - Primark
The event was a birthday party for one my best friend's sister who decided on a black and white formal theme.
I was so excited about this as I had been dying to wear a ball type gown, after hours of searching on the internet for a maxi dress that had split in the leg. I ordered three to try on, one from ASOS, one from MissGuided and one from After trying them on it was decided that the boohoo dress was the best one for me.
I felt like a princess the moment I was fully dressed with my make up and hair done! I wish I could wear outfits like this out all the time.
Getting Photobombed!
I went to my local hairdressers to get my hair done as I felt like treating myself. I went armed with a picture of Lauren Pope and they set off to do the best they could do as my hair is so thick! However once it was all styled I felt like Ariel from The Little Mermaid! I has asked for Hollywood style waves/curls and I think she did a perfect job. However cause my hair is so thick it had pretty much dropped out by 9pm. *sad face*
Yeah we are crazy!
See I told the photos are bad! This is the best photo I could find of my make up, the night was such a blur of wine and shots that the rest of the photos shouldn't ever be put on the internet!
I was aiming for a nice Hollywood make up effect, think what you would see on the red carpet at The Oscars and such.
I was rather chuffed with my highlighter that night!

The Products I Used
Base - Benefit Porefessional & Benefit That Girl
Concealer - Soap & Glory's Kiss Ass Concealer & YSL Touche E'clat
Foundation - Estee Lauder Double Wear
Setting Powder - Seventeen Stay Matte
Contour - Sleek's Contour Palette
Highlighter - Benefit High Beam and Sleek's Contour Palette
Blush - Sleek Blush by 3 palette
Eyebrows - ELF Eyebrow Kit
Eyeshadow - Naked 3 pallete Liar, MAC Vanilla, Benefit Eye Bright
Eyeliner - Bojouris Megaliner & Khol and Contour
Mascara - MAC In Extreme Dimension Lash
Lipstick - MAC Viva Glam
And that is my get ready with me!
I know it's a quite a rubbish post as I was fully intending it being a video, however I am working on my YouTube videos at the moment so expect some to pop up soon!
Have you ever been to a black & white party?
What's your favourite part of my get ready with me?
Let me know in the comments!

Monthly Favourites - March

Why hello everybody!

Can you believe we are in April now already!
This year is just flying by.
So of course it's that time, for my March Monthly Favourites!

I've had a few favourite things this month that I haven't be able to live without,
so lets get stuck straight in to them.
First up lets tackle my beauty favourites.

L'Oreal Studio Line #TXT Volume Supersizing Spray
I love this texture spray. It is great when I'm having a messy hair day; I can literally spray some dry shampoo on my hair then give a spritz of this to give some supersize volume to my hair! Unlike other sprays like this that I've tried this one doesn't leave your hair feeling a bit crispy or looking greasy.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water
So like every other blogger out there I have been converted! I was using the L'Oreal micellar water but finding that this didn't remove my make up very well and was taking a good few cotton pads to get all my make up off. However the Garnier micellar is a whole other kettle of fish! I use only one cotton pad and can sweep this across my eyes and voilĂ , my mascara is taking off in one sweep!
It's totally changed my skincare routine!

Clarins Cleansing Milk
I've been suffering with a bad breakout lately, so I decided it was time to invest in my skincare. I hopped off to the Clarins counter and had an intense consultation about my skin type, what products I used to use and what products I should be using.
The lady recommended their Cleansing Milk for combination or oily skin and my oh my since using it I've noticed a huge improvement with my skin and my breakout is slowly clearing up.
If you are suffering with your skin I would definitely suggest that you invest in your skincare products, you will notice a difference.

Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation
As stated in my last blog post on my foundations, I have been loving this gem from Estee Lauder.
Words can't even begin to describe how much I've enjoyed using this foundation, it's totally changed the way my make up looks as well as the staying power of my make up.

Now onto the non beauty favourites!

Jo Malone Sweet Almond & Macaroon Candle
Now for people who know me extremely well, they will know that I love candles, Jo Malone scents & macaroons.
So when I saw that Jo Malone had brought out a candle that has a macaroon scent, I was like I need this candle in my life. And so it was bought!
This candle has been brightening up my nights in and the sweet scent takes over my entire room (and even the house)
Yes the candle is pricey but I know that it will last me for a good few months.

Pharrell Williams - G I R L
Now the sun has started to shine, the feel good summer music can start to come out, and this album is liquid gold for the ears! I loved N.E.R.D so as soon as Pharrell released this album I was downloading on spotify. My favourite tracks are Come Get It Bae ft. Miley Cyrus and Brand New ft. Justin Timberlake.
I love listening to this when I'm walking to work as it instantly puts me in a good mood for the rest of the day.

The Vampire Diaries
Okay so I've fallen in love with The Vampire Diaries all over again. I originally watched the first & second series when they first were aired on TV, however I decided to re watch from the beginning on Netflix. I've just started the 4th season and I'm in shock with what has happened! I also can't decide who I want Elena to end up with, one episode its Stefan then the next episode it's Damon! I'm also totally crushing on Jeremy!

Eating Healthy and Working Out.
So in March I totally kick started my healthy eating and I've really been enjoying it!
I've been eating a lot of fish and salads as well as cutting out white carbs.
I also joined the gym by my work and have been loving being a little gym bunny, I've got my first personal training session next week which I can't wait for.
I'm determined to keep this up until I've lost my goal weight and don't worry I plan to keep you guys updated with how I'm getting on.

And that is all what I loved in March!
What have you been loving lately?
Do you also love any of the stuff I've mentioned?
Let me know in the comments!
