A Letter To My Past & Future Self

So this post is a little unlike what's recently been up on the blog, but I hope you will still like it! I'm now in my mid 20s and 30 isn't that far away, after having a bit of a melt down the other week that I didn't know what to do with my life and it was passing me by with out realising. One of my friends pulled me to the side and told me that I shouldn't be worrying about the fact I'm a little confused with life right now and just because a lot of my friends are buying houses or getting engaged shouldn't phase me. After thinking about what she said I thought how cool it would be to write a letter to my past 18 year old self and my future 33 year old self. I'm going to posting them separately otherwise it's just going to be such a long post.

This is what I had to say...

A letter to my past self - 18 years of age.

30th January 2014
Hello Laurel,

It's your future self here in 2014. Right now its a Thursday night here in my time and I'm currently watching The Little Mermaid (yes you haven't grown out of loving Disney films just yet) and what do I think you're currently doing? Well it's a Saturday in your year, so I suspect that you will probably out getting a tad bit drunk. Especially as you've just got back to university after your first break.

Well what can I tell you that is going to happen over these next 8 years!

First things first, lets get down to boys. After all you're currently experiencing your first time of hanging around with guys on a daily basis after being stuck in all girls schools for the last 15 years.
Let's just say, you are going to fall in love twice. One will be your first love (which now looking back on it, doesn't seem that much) the other will be a love that was true and real. I don't want to give too much away to you because I've learnt so much from what has happened to me. Your longest serious relationship will make you grow so much and realise that sometimes you can be a crazy jealous girlfriend (let's just say after a few drinks you think you're always right). You will have two really bad breakups, one with a guy who was a flash in a pan but he breaks your heart by text message. The other will crush you into tiny little pieces but you are doing the right thing when you initiate the break up chat. It's what comes after this break up that you realise how bloody strong you are and that it just wasn't meant to be. Yes at the time he will feel like the one and you will make plans for the future but everyone does this, don't panic! Just give your heart to anyone that you thinks deserves it & give it 100%, you never know they may surprise you.
It's not all gloom and doom when it comes to guys. You will have a few one nighters and don't feel ashamed by it (don't worry you used protection). As well as a hysterical first date with a guy you met online, you have a few too many caphrinas and had to call Emma M to come and get you. You then proceed to throw up all night meaning Em has to stay to make sure your okay. That's what life is about though, you need to go out and grab it.

Next up let's talk about friends!
All those people you said you were going to stay in contact with from sixth form? Yes you talk to around 6 of them now on a frequent basis. Your two besties Nikki and Cole are there for you a lot especially during 2013, you even go to Thailand with them. I know, bet you never thought you'd go there.
The girls from dancing, well there your best chums in the whole world. You will talk to them all on a daily basis as well as go on so many holidays and to festivals with them. I actually don't think we could get by without them. Even though whilst your at uni, you don't speak to the girls that much when you graduate it's like nothing has changed. And now that Stacey has bought her own flat with her boyfriend it's even more fun and games!
All these friends that you are currently making at university. Well I'm going to be honest, you're only going to end up staying in contact with around 8 of them. You'll soon realise that a lot of them were just companions to while away the time whilst trying to cope with all the pressure of uni, whilst the others are you true mates and you know you can count on them.

What else can I tell you, well don't panic about the after university getting a job problem. After around 8 months of temping you actually get your first proper full time office job within in the travel industry. Yes I know it's not what you have got your heart set on right now especially with studying dance but you actually sometimes really enjoy your job and you're quite good at it as well. You've already had 4 promotions within 4 years! I know crazy right!
You are still going to fancy the pants of Zac Efron as well as dabbling with changing up you hair colour next year to a dark brown. In 2014 you actually become a red head! You will still spend way too much money on clothes but this has now spread into beauty products as well! And you're still paying off your student loan, lets hope we meet a rich man soon who will just pay it off otherwise we'll be 70 and still paying it!
Also cut back on the partying you crazy animal. You're going to almost fail if you don't spend some nights indoors with your housemates actually doing some uni work. You aren't going to listen to me, so there is no point! However you're not such a good drinker as what you are at uni, the hangovers have got worse.

You are going to have a pretty life changing accident also, don't worry it's nothing to horrific. However this is what does lead you start this little blog but unfortunately you do have to quit dancing. Yes no more competitions or teaching, it does break your heart and I'm going to be honest here you will go through a small time of having mild depression which is what caused problems with the last relationship you'll be in before this time. However once going to Thailand and reconnecting with your now single self you will realise the world is actually your oyster, so don't be afraid, don't change anything that you think is right and don't hesitate to say yes!

Also, your bedroom finally gets redecorated in 2013! I know amazing right!

Remember I Love You, and that's all you need.

Laurel
xx

Monthly Favourites #1

Hello Little Ones,

So this is my first ever Monthly Favourites post!
I always love reading these kind of posts as it gives me ideas of things to buy or try that I usually wouldn't think of.

So lets get started!

Beauty Favourites

Benefit - Porefessional
I'm so late jumping on the bandwagon on this product, but oh my lord I'm loving the way it primes my face.
It just makes it feel super smooth and looks flawless.
I also love that its quite a handy size so you can pop it in your handbag for a top up during the day if your face is starting to get a little oily.

Soap & Glory - Peaches & Clean
This has now become my holy grail in the evenings for taking my make up off!
It's a 3 in 1 wash off cleanser which just smells divine as well as it doing the job.
I've not really ventured that much into Soap & Glory's face skincare but after getting this in the Yule Monty set it's definitely made me want to try more of their range.
I would highly recommend this if you're wanting to get a skincare routine that isn't too pricey!

Soap & Glory - The Daily Soothe
After watching one of Tanya Burr's vlogmas videos, I stumbled across this bath float and I knew I had to have it.
I love the Sugar Crush body wash range so I knew I couldn't be disappointed by this.
It's perfect after a long hard day at work as it has a lavender scent which really helps calm and relax you, before putting on your best PJs and snuggling up in bed.
The amount of bubbles you get for just one handful also is amazing, you get good value out of the pot for this little bath float.

Urban Decay - Naked 3
This little gem has opened up my eyes to a whole new world of eyeshadows!
I'm using this palette every single day and loving playing around mixing up the shades.
I know a lot of you beauty bloggers have already got your mitts on this palette and are loving it, but if you're thinking of buying your first palette and wanting neutral shades I would highly recommend buying one of Urban Decay's Naked palettes. They are pricey but will last you a life time!

Jo Malone - Blackberry & Bay Cologne
Eeekkk, my first ever Jo Malone cologne!
Jo Malone have the best scents ever and the fact that you can layer them with each other just makes them even more special!
My mum bought me this little 30ml bottle for Christmas and I've been treasuring it so much.
I'm only spritzing myself with it on special occasions so it doesn't run out to quickly.
This scent is fruity with a woody undertone and it's perfect for winter time.
I can't wait to expand my Jo Malone collection and get another scent as well as a candle.
Ooohh imagine your whole bedroom filled with this scent, heaven!

General Daily Favourites

Dexter - Available on Netflix
After finishing watching Gossip Girl, I was in desperate need of a new box set to watch to help me get
through how depressing January is without no money.
A work colleague had been saying for months that I should watch Dexter, especially as I love Homeland.
So after umming and ahhing for ages about what to fill the Gossip Girl gap with I gave Dexter a go.
Now I'm not big on blood or detective shows, but I finished the first season in about a week and have just started season 2. It's safe to say I'm hooked.

Snack a Jacks - Chocolate Chip flavour
So like everyone in January I've been trying to eat more healthy, in order to loose my 2 stone target before I go on holiday in June.
However I can't kick the chocolate craving so the Chocolate flavour snack a jacks have become a firm favourite. I take a whole packet to work on a Monday and by the end of the week there's none left!
They are so good at helping with the chocolate craving I usually get at around 3pm and I'm still sticking to eating healthy as there only 62 calories per rice cake.

Saturday Morning Jog
So if you've read my 2014 resolutions post, if not click here!
You will be aware that I'm trying to get back into jogging again at least once a week and so far I've been really good! The last three weeks I've gone on a 2 mile jog every Saturday morning, even yesterday morning with a hangover! Now that is dedication!
I've really been enjoying it and find that it's a great way to start the weekend, you can totally clear you head and focus on just yourself.
I'm hoping once the evenings start to get lighter I'll be able to go on a jog in the evenings and up it to around 3 times a week.
It's been a great way to help me get healthy also.

Rather Be Feat Jess Glynne by Clean Bandit
This song is gearing me up for summer so much as well as it taking me back to primary school days due to its 90s feel.
When I'm having a bad day at work or out on my Saturday morning jog, I put this on and I'm instantly in a better mood. I love songs that do this and totally understand why it's doing so well in the charts.
If you haven't heard this song or you have and love it as much as me then click here, to have a listen as well as watch the video.

Face of the Day - 19th January

Hello Little Ones,

I've got a little Face of the Day post for you today.
It's the first time I've done a post like this so I hope you like it.

I'm not off anywhere fancy today, just catching up with some old school friends;
so I would say this is my normal weekend basic look.
Over the weekend I have a little more time to do my make up then I do on weekdays as I'm usually rushing around getting ready for work.

Products used left to right
Porefessional Primer by Benefit, It's Potent Eye Cream by Benefit, Matte Sheer Glow in Cadiz by NARS,
Buffing Brush by Real Techniques, Miracle Matte Loose Powder in transparent by 17, Blush in Fuschia Fusion by ELF
Thick & Fast Mascara by Soap & Glory, Boiing Concealer by Benefit, Mineralize Skin Finish in Give Me Sun by MAC,
Pro Wear Paint Pot in Utterly Becoming by Mac, Khol & Contour by Bourjois, Naked 3 Palette by Urban Decay.
I apply Porefessional first of all using my fingers across my face. I'm loving this primer as it makes your face feel so smooth. I then add a little of the It's Potent eye cream under my eyes, this really helps brighten up any under eye circles.

After this I then take my matte sheer glow foundation and buff in with my real techniques buffing brush. I find that this brush is the best for applying this foundation and gives optimum coverage.
I then apply Boiing concealer to any blemishes that I feel need an extra tiny bit of help to be hidden.
This is then all set with the Miracle Matte Loose Powder from 17, this powder is brilliant and really good for setting your foundation in place for the day.

After this I take the MAC mineralize skin finish and brush across my face to give myself a tiny bit of colour.
Blush is then added to the apples of my cheeks. I'm currently loving the ELF Fuschia Fusion as it gives the perfect pop of colour to make it look like you've just come in from the cold.

Now onto my eyes.
For the base I've currently been using my Pro Wear Paint Pot in Utterly Becoming. It's a great base colour as it is really neutral.
Today I decided to opt for Liar from my Naked 3 palette and brush this through my crease.

I then take the Bourjois Kohl and Contour eye liner and line my top lid and water line.
This eyeliner is actually amazing, with the khol black for eyeliner as well as the silver for contouring around the eye.
And then to finish I brush Soap & Glory's Thick and Fast mascara on my eyelashes;
and hey presto I'm ready to go!

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Starter Kit - Beauty Review

Hello Little Ones,

I'm giving you a beauty review today, the first one of 2014!

One of my resolutions is take better care of my body. This includes my skin, so when I went shopping after Christmas I knew I needed to pick up a really good cleanser for my face.
I decided that the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Starter Kit would be perfect!

£14.95 from Boots
The cleanser itself comes in a little waterproof style pouch along with 2 muslin cloths.
Having 2 muslin cloths is great as it means you always have a spare whilst the dirty one is the wash.
The packing is neat and compact which is great for travelling.

So what does the cleanser claim to do?
Well it states that it's
"A rich, concentrated cream that gently removes daily grime & make-up, even stubborn mascara, to leave skin clear, smooth and exceptionally clean. Used with the pure muslin cloth it lifts away dead skin cells revealing fresh, radiant skin"

I've found after using the cleanser for the last few weeks that it does do what it says. I've noticed a clear difference in my skin and so have other people also.

What else is great is the actual scent of the product. It has a really strong eucalyptus smell as well as rosemary and chamomile; which is great in the mornings to wake you up!

How do use the product?
Well with it being a hot cloth cleanser, I always turn the hot tap on first and let the water drench the cloth.
I then take around 2-3 pumps of the cleanser itself and massage gently in circular motions over my face and neck. This helps the circulation in your face, meaning the dirt and all the bad stuff will come to the surface.
Squeeze out the excess water from your muslin cloth and start to rub the cleanser from your face, once again in circular motions. Once all removed, give your face a splash with some cold water to help open up the pores completely before you use a toner.

If you're looking to step up your skincare as a New Year's Resolution then I would definitely recommend picking up the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polise Starter Kit. Its perfect for starting you off on a high end style cleanser and gives you the results that you want to see!

Have you tried Liz Earle's Cleanse & Polish?
Or do you use another good hot cloth cleanser?
Let me know in the comments.

Golden Globes 2014 - My Top 5 Best Dressed!

Hello again Little Ones,

Last night whilst here in the UK we were all tucked up in our beds, Hollywood's elite were hitting the red, or should I say wet, carpet; for the annual 71st Golden Globes Awards in Beverley Hills.

Now I've always dreamed of attending an event like this.
The dresses, the make up, the hair and the glamour just draws me in like a moth to a flame.
Come award season you can find me trawling through getty images looking at all the dresses as well as my twitter feed of my favourite celebrities!
I mean who doesn't want to see what designer Angelina Jolie is wearing, as well as having Brad Pitt on her arm.

The Golden Globes this year got off to a bad start with a apparent burst pipe leaking all over the red carpet, a mere few hours before the first celeb would be placing their stilettos on it.
Only this could happen in Hollywood!
However all was saved and as they say in the business
"The show must go on"

Today on my lunch at work was spent looking at different tabloids views on the best and worst dressed women. Some I agreed with and some I didn't.
So I'm going to give you my top five ladies who I think were the best dressed of the night,
as well as my top couple!

So my top dressed celeb couple goes to Channing Tatum and his wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum.
Image from PerezHilton.com
Channing is wearing Prada and Jenna is wearing Maria Lucia Hohan.
This couple prove the simple black and white theme can never fail!
With Channing sporting a simple black two piece suit that makes every girl swoon and Jenna in her white gown with the fishtail netting and lace detail, makes them seem like the prom king and queen of The Golden Globes!
Also you wouldn't think she just had a baby 8 months ago!

Now onto my personal best dress ladies of the evening.

At number 5 proving a little black dress is always a safe bet is
Emma Roberts.
Image from US Magazine.
Emma is wearing Lavin.
I love the draped shoulders on this dress which makes it a little bit sexy but not too much as well as it nipping down into the infamous mermaid tail at the bottom.
Emma oozes sassiness and elegance all at the same time!

At number 4 comes the beautiful Mila Kunis.

Image from public.ladmedia.
Mila is wearing one of the all time great designers Gucci.
With it's flower detailing around the neck and a waterfall sequin effect running down to past the hips, this dress has award ceremony written all over it with out being to over the top.
I love the silver colour as well as the waist band nipping her in tiny waist in so she doesn't look like she's wearing a sack.
Perfection!

In at number 3, staying true to love for old Hollywood Glamour is Taylor Swift.

Image from OK! Magazine
Taylor is wearing a Caroline Herrera design.
This dress was made to perfection for Taylor, proving that you can wear red on the red carpet and not clash!
I love the black bust as well as the amazing train on this dress, it instantly takes me to old school Hollywood, especially with her up do and make up!

Coming in at number 2, proving being pregnant doesn't mean you forget about looking gorgeous is
Olivia Wilde.
Image from so-trendy.fr
Olivia is wearing Gucci, once again proving that Gucci is a topped loved designer for the award season over the pond.
I love the colour on this as well as it being a body con making Olivia show off her baby bump.
The sequins just make this dress pop! I often look at dresses like this one for around Christmas praying I has somewhere to wear one to.
The plain simpleness of this dress makes it beautiful for me and not too much for her being pregnant.
(Unlike Drew Barrymore, google and you will know what I mean)

And coming in at my number one spot, despite what the critics are saying, is
Emma Watson.

Image from sonhosdecrepom.com
Emma looks dazzling in Dior.
As soon as I saw a picture of this dress it was love at first sight!
From the colour to the completely open back showcasing some cigarette style trousers, I can't fault this.
This dress oozes sex appeal proving she has come a long way from her days wearing robes around Hogwarts.
I love the fact that Emma has been bold with her choice combining a dress with trousers, almost makes me miss my days of a young teen wearing trouser skirts!
I do however hope that fashion trend doesn't make a return.
Emma literally stole the red carpet in this Dior gown, everyone has been talking about it.
Whether you love it or hate it, you've certainly talked about it today!

Now I'm off to exercise insanely and put on my best award ceremony style gown whilst I sit and wait for my Oscars invitation to arrive.
Well a girl can dream...

Who was your best dressed of the night?
What's your favourite out of my top 5?
Let me know in the comments!

Until next time...

Bargains Bagged Online

Hello Little Ones,

I'm back with a mini haul of the beauty bits I got in the sales online.

I didn't get much but I'm still pretty chuffed with what I got.

First up is the Laura Mercier Creme Brulee Body & Bath Luxe Quartet Set from Space NK.

Was £60 Reduced to £30
This now my luxury bath set, if I'm going somewhere special or am treating myself to a pamper evening,
this set comes out. It has a really sweet smell to all of the products and candles, which I love. The smell remains on your skin for a good amount of time after which is what you always want!
I'm so glad I managed to find this and will definitely be looking at picking up more of the Laura Mercier body range products in the future.

Next up is ELF.
Now I've never bought or tried any of the ELF make up before but on Boxing Day when I saw that they were offering half price on everything, I knew that this was the perfect time to buy some products to try.
Left to Right
Studio Eyebrow Kit in Medium- £3.75
Mineral Infused Primer in Radiant Glow - £6.00
High Definition Powder in translucent - £6.00
Blush in Fuschia Fusion - £3.75
Large Brush Holder - £14.00
So far I am loving the products and the fact that I managed to get all of that reduced to £19.70 at the checkout is just brilliant.
I'm especially loving the blush at the moment.

The colour is perfect for making your cheeks look like you've just stepped in from the cold, as well as having a bit of shimmer.
I've been getting a lot of comments about it since wearing the product, so I will definitely be trying some other colours come spring from ELF.

And that is all the sales goodies I got this year!
Have you managed to get any good bargains?
Let me know in the comments.

Monhtly iPhone Pictures #3 - December

Hi Little Ones,

I'm back with another Monthly iPhone Picture post.

December has been a busy month, with Christmas and parties etc
so my phone is full of pictures; meaning I've been extra picky with the ones I'm showing
you today.

December iPhone Pictures

Top Row, Left to Right
- An evening out with the chums to Winter Wonderland of course called for a picture with a penguin.
- One of my oldest school friends and I out celebrating her birthday, safe to say I had one too many wines.
- My Christmas Yankee Candle that I got in my work Secret Santa, this has been burning non stop over December.
- I attended the #LDNXMASMEET with some other lovely bloggers and this was one of the lovely gifts in the goodie bag.

Second Row, Left to Right
- The annual get together at one of my chums house for Christmas, all the parents and little kids get toget and we have a massive secret santa. This was the most sensible photo of all of us.
- I took part in an Christmas Beauty Box Swap and this was the goodie box I was so happy to receive from the lovely Jen over at Daisy Rose Beauty. Post to come soon!!
- A few little treats to myself before Christmas. Of course the Naked 3 was purchased.
- I love this photo of all the chums at our "pretend" Christmas Day. This was just before we exchanged presents.

Third Row, Left to Right
- Our little Christmas Tree all ready for Santa to come on Christmas Eve
- My Christmas presents I received. Theres a post about this on the blog just click here!!
- My sister's Christmas present from me. A mini Harry Styles asking her to come see him in concert.
- Me and Emma on Boxing Day, getting ready to make some cocktails.

Bottom Row, Left to Right
- The table presents that Emma's mum kindly made for us all on Boxing Day.
- And this is where I got ill. So my mum kindly bought me some cold and flu tables and the One Direction film (which I've yet to watch)
- My re organised dressing table after all the goodies I got over Christmas it needed a re vamp. I'm planning on post about what's on my dressing table soon.
- This was how I spent my New Years Eve. As I was really ill with a bad fever and flu I treated myself to a Laura Mercier Creme Brulee bath complete with candles to see in 2014.

And that's my December in a nut shell!
I can't wait to see what January brings as like most people I'm skint and trying to think of ways to still have fun and not be stuck indoors.

What have you been up to this month?
Let me know in the comments!

Until next time...

Boxing Day Sales Haul

Hello Little Ones,

Last Friday my Mum and I headed over to Lakeside Shopping Centre
for a bit of shop in the sales.

However as you will tell from this post, once you've read it, that to be honest I didn't really bag
myself anything in the sale.
I've actually been quite disappointed in the sales this year and the only good bargain I got was online.
More on that in another post coming soon.

I'm only going to show all the beauty products I bought as the clothes I bought I'm saving for some
OOTD's I've got lined up.

First up is Lush.
Lush always knock all their Christmas range down to half price, so I resisted the urge to buy online
and decided to wait and see what my local store had left to grab.
Back Row - Golden Wonder - £1.75
Front Row L-R -
Pop in the Bath - £2.95
Cinders - £1.23
Tisty Tosty - £3.25
Okay so not all of these products were in the sale.
However it was every person for themselves in Lush, people were literally shoving each other out the way to grab the last few goodies.
I managed to grab the last two Golden Wonder's, which I fell in love with the week leading up to Christmas.
They will 100% be used for a special occasion.
I did treat myself to a few of the standard Lush bath products to see if I can carry on my love for Lush
after Christmas has finished.

After this we headed to Boots.
And this is where it al went wrong for my bank balance.

Real Techniques Brushes - On Buy One Get One Half Price
Miracle Complexion Sponge - £5.99 reduced to £2.99
Powder Brush - £12.99
I'm currently working on expanding my Real Techniques collection and couldn't resist with this offer.

Hydraluron - Was £24.99 Reduced to £16.65
Now this was probably my best bargain!
Saving a grand total of £8.34, I couldn't leave this behind after hearing and reading all the great reviews
regarding Hydraluron over the last few months.
I've been using this on and off for the last few days as I've been ill but come next week I'm hoping I notice a difference in my skin.

Benefit Pretty Porefect - £24.50
Again like Hydraluron I've heard really good things about Benefit's Porefessional balm.
So when I saw this little set including It's Potent eye cream and That Gal face primer I couldn't resist and it was instantly thrown in my basket.
Naughty me!

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish - £14.75
Now if you have read my New Year's Resolutions post, you will know that my number one
resolution is to take better care of my skin.
So I decided to invest in a really good cleanser, now I'm not in no way an expert when it comes to
cleansers etc but I've seen many people trying this as this was a starter set that also came with two muslin cloths it seemed like the right choice.
More to follow on how I get on with this cleanser.

Remington Shine Therapy Brush - £9.99
Now that I've got a fringe I had been finding myself stealing my mum's round brush to blow dry my fringe
every morning, so I was marched to the hairbrushes and ordered to pick one as my mum was getting fed up of her brush going missing. I decided on the Remington Shine Therapy as anything that says
it will help your hair be shiny I'm a sucker for.

Soap & Glory The Daily Soothe Bath Float - £8.00
As I've now become a full on lover of having a bath in the evenings to help me unwind,
I decided I needed to invest in other bath products other than Lush.
Now I'm a sucker for Soap & Glory so when I saw The Daily Soothe sitting on the shelve
I knew I had to have it as it claims to be "super-soothing pre-bedtime" which is just what I need
after a stressful day at the office.

Blanx White Shock Toothpaste - £4.99
This is a boring one, but I'm on a quest to whiter teeth that doesn't involve paying fortunes of money.
After standing looking at shelves for ages and my mum stating "it's toothpaste, just pick one"
I decided on Blanx's White Shock. It has no peroxide, which is super for your teeth and claims to whiten your teeth continually over 24 hours as well as reacting to lighting.
I'm just hoping it works!

And that's what I picked up beauty wise in the shops...
It's a bit poor I know but like many other people the sales just haven't been as good this year.

I'll be letting you know what I've purchased online in the sales also in another post,
so make sure you click that bloglovin' follow button.

Did you pick anything up in the sales?
Let me know in the comments.

Until next time...

My New Years Resolutions 2014

Happy New Year Little Ones!!

Hope you had a great time ringing in 2014.
Unfortunately for me I have been really ill for nearly a week now, so I
spent the evening at home with my nan and a takeaway.

A new year for me, means a clean slate.
A chance to let go of anything bad from 2013 and look forward
to making 2014 an even better year.

I always make resolutions.
I'm a sucker for lists and giving myself goals so love sitting down and doing this every year.
Last year I made 12 resolutions, one for every month of the year.
I didn't stick to anyone of them!

This year I've split my resolutions into 3 categories.
Personal
Blogging
and
Places I Want To Visit.

I'm going to share them with you all and hopefully give you an update every so often regarding if
I am keeping them or not.
So here are mine.

Personal Resolutions

1. Take better care of my body.
As I've been ill quite a lot this year I've decided I need to start
taking vitamins, drinking more water and just generally look after myself.

2. Go running at least once a week.
During the summer I found a love for running but when winter came I decided to hibernate.
Whilst we are still in the winter months I've promised myself to go for a run
on the weekend.

3. Lose 2 stone by June.
Yes its a cliche weight loss resolution.
But I have over induldged so much the last few months that my clothes are getting
a tiny bit too tight. With lots of holidays planned I'm determined to get that Lucy Mecklenburgh body.

4. Save at least £300 a month.
I'm starting to get a lot better with my money and I really want
to start getting some savings behind me.

5. Learn to Drive.
Now this one I really want to complete this year.
I'm the only one out of all my friends that can't drive and this can be such a pain in the butt
sometimes as I'm constantly relying on lifts or paying money out for taxis.
So come February I'm going to start lessons and revising for my theory.

Blogging Resolutions

1. Monthly Favourites
I love these posts and I often go through phases of loving certain things
each month.
So on the 5th of every month I will be posting my
Monthly Favourites.

2. At least one OOTD a month.
I'm promising to bring you guys at least one OOTD a month.
No matter what, whether this be a work outfit, casual or going out I will be posting one.

3. At least two beauty products review a month.
I'm really bad at doing reviews and I really want to get better at them.
So I'm intending on posting at least two reviews a month of beauty products I'm loving.

Places I Want To Visit in 2014

1. Disney
I don't mind if its Paris, Florida or California.
I need to go.
Only problem is I need someone to come with me!
Anyone?

2. Harry Potter Studios
I know I only went last year but I enjoyed it so much
that I really want to go back again and take better photos this time.

3. New York
Last night as I lay in my bed ill watching all the fireworks go off
I decided I don't want to be in England next year to see in 2015.
Instead I'm going to try and convince some of my friends to come to New York.

4. Devon
I've decided I need to do some more UK based weekends away.
I have always heard that Devon is really pretty in the summer so would love to get the chummies
on a road trip down there.

5. Dublin
I am half Irish yet I've never been to their capital city and explored it properly.
I'm trying really hard to convince the chummies to a weekend away there knocking back the cider and guinness.

And that's all my resolutions for 2014!
Have you got any resolutions?
Let me know in the comments!

Until next time...
