Guest Post - What To Wear To A Christmas Party

Hello Lola's Readers!

My name is Becca and I run a beauty, fashion and lifestyle blog ,with a regular motivation/advice feature called Wednesday Word, called MissBeccaBeauty. Recently I have been trying to attempt more fashion posts and learn how to style and put an outfit together. Today I am going to show you what I would wear to a Christmas Party: this can be for a work party (though I don't have a job!), a friends party or a festive family get-together!

The Dress- This dress is from Dorothy Perkins and I think pretty much any body shape and figure can wear this dress as it has a very flattering flared skirt. The white collar makes this even dressier but you could also probably wear it as a casual day dress with brown boots and a parker.

The Jacket- Jackets are essential this time of year as it can be very cold at night and you don't want to catch a cold or the flu because you didn't wear a jacket outside, now do you? This jacket is perfect for a party as the sleeves are dressed with loads of sparkles and glitter. It also complements the dress really well as the dress is a little on the simple side! I have out this jacket from

The Shoes- These shoes are the star of the show for me! I don't think I would ever actually be able to dance in them (let alone walk!) but they are so cool I just had to put them with this outfit. These killer heels are from and are actually very reasonable at only £25.

The Earrings- I for one don't really like necklaces as they weigh down my neck and they also bounce around when I walk or dance at a party, so I tend to steer clear of them. But I do like really pretty earrings and these ones caught my eye because they are silvery and glittery like the sparkles on the jacket so I thought they matched quite nicely. These little flowers are from

The Clutch- This is the most luxurious item in  my outfit; the Ted Baker clutch is priced at £105 which is very pricey; but could also make a lovely gift for a special lady very close to you in your life. It has a strong classy vibe about it and looks so elegant paired with the rest of the items.

The Lipstick- A bold bright pink lip is like the cherry on the cake. It ties the outfit together perfectly and this shocking pink is really flatting on a lot of skin tones. I have only picked Channel as it is a classic brand, but most make up brands will sell a very similar shade!

I hope you have enjoyed this post and please head over to my blog and say hello as I love chatting to new readers! Thank you Lola for letting me post here today and I hope I chat to you all soon...
