FestiHaul

Hello Little Ones,
Today I'm giving you a
Festive Haul
or as I like to call it a
FestiHaul!

Last Sunday I decided I needed to splurge some cash on myself as it had been a while.
So I grabbed my mum and we headed off to Lakeside Shopping Centre for a
little pre christmas spree.

First up we headed to Primark.
As I hate it when it starts to get messy in there and I can't find stuff.

Tartan Dress - £15
I can't wait to start wearing this dress!
Pairing it with thick tights and some cute ballet pumps or boots
makes it the perfect look for over the Winter months.
This will definately be making an appearance over the Christmas period.

Sheer Shirt with Detailed Collar -£12
We all now know my love for collared shirts.
And I just couldn't resist this one!
With the amazing detailing on the collar this will be perfect under a jumper with the collar
peeping out.
A nice pair of dark denim jeans and knee high black boots
complete the outfit for me.

Black and Gold Tee - £12
Gold instantly transports me to the Christmas holidays.
This will be great to wear to work with some jeans and converse
during our dress down week leading up to Christmas day.

Santa Jumper - £12
How could I leave this amazing item on the shelf?
I am a full on lover of the Christmas Jumper and this will be worn on Boxing Day.
It feels super cosy and I can't wait to get it on!

Santa Leggings - £10
My mum's response when I picked this leggings up was one of distaste.
However I don't plan on wearing this outside the house at all.
They are going to be put to use as my new pj bottoms.
Anything that has santa on has to have a place in my wardrobe!

Slipper Socks - £3
With the nights getting colder now I've had to invest in some slippers.
However I hate slippers so these are a great alternative.
With their super cosy lining they have been keeping my tootsies warm in the evenings.

Super Cosy Tights - £3.50
This tights are a must buy!
At £3.50 how can you leave them, with their wollen lining they keep your legs warm
whilst still looking stylish.

Scented Candles - £4

Scented Candle - £1.50
After pretty much burning out my Christmas scented candles already
I needed to invest in some new ones.
And Primark came up trumps!
With their set of 3 Christmas spiced candles as well as the tin
snowflake candle they were chucked in my basket with no hesitation.
They smell amazing, lets just hope I don't run out by next weekend!

After that I headed over to Lush Ltd.
I've actually never been in Lush or bought anything from there before,
but after hearing about their Christmas range I was like I must go and see
what all this hype is about!
I wasn't let down and could of ended up buying the shop!

Candy Mountain Bubble Bar - £2.65
This has already been used and has converted me into a full Lush lover.
With its vanilla scent and ability to turn your bath pink,
how could any girl not love it?
Not only that but it leaves your feeling super relaxed as well as smelling amazing!

Father Christmas Bath Ballistic - £3.25
I'm so excited to use this bath ballistic in the week before Christmas!
They say it will turn your bath into a feast of Christmas colours as welll
as having a festive fragrance!
If this doesn't get you in the crimbo mood, then you must be scrooge himself!

Golden Wonder - £3.50
Okay yes I admit it I was instantly drawn to this one
when I saw that it has the scent of a Champagne cocktail.
I mean what girl doesn't want to bathe in champagne?
This will most probably be used before my work Christmas party so I can feel extra special!

Melting Snowman - £2.25
Now I picked this one up because of the cute factor!
I mean just look at him.
I know as soon as I put them in the bath I'm going to regret melting him even more.
However once the smells of cocoa, almond and cinnamon take over I know it will be worth it
especially as they say it helps relieve fatigue.
Perfect for after all those festive drinks and parties combined with working!

After this I decided I want to have a quick little look in Boots as I was
secretly hoping that they still had some beauty calendars left.
(Wishful thinking!)
But of course the make up counters, the Christmas music and their 3 for 2 offer
meant I couldn't leave with out buying anything!

Smashbox Studio Skin Foundation - £29.50
Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick in 110 - £5.99
Maybelline Rocket Volume Mascara - £7.99
Maybelline Eye Studio Master Shape Brow Pencil - £2.99
My current go to daily foundation from MAC is on its last legs,
and with no MAC in Lakeside, I needed to find something similar that I could use.
Now I've always wanted to the smashbox products and I thought what better time than now.
After telling the lady who worked for Smashbox what I was after, she told me
to take a seat and that I could be colour matched!
After 3 different shades in the Studio Skin Finish I went for
2.1 shade.
So far I've been loving the way this applies to my skin and
it actually does stay all day without leaving your face feel like your make up has melted!
Perfection!

The other three products are part of the 3 for 2 offer
that Boots currently have on across most of their beauty ranges.

I'm loving the Maybelline Rocket Volume mascara!
It goes on clump free and leaves them looking long and luscious,
something that every girl needs for all those Christmas Parties!

After trying the Kate Moss Rimmel in 107 and falling in love
I thought I must try another colour.
I was instantly drawn to how vibrant 110 looked and gave no hesitation in
placing it in my basket.
I can't wait to get this on and give my lips a shot of coral/orange!

And that's it...
My FestiHaul!

What's your favourite item from the haul?
Is there any Festive beauty and fashion items you really want to get your mitts on right now?
Let me know in the comments!

Until next time...

Going Red - Time for a Change

So yesterday I decided it was
Time For A Change!

I've been blonde for the last 8 years of my life.
This has seen me had two serious boyfriends, get my first "proper job", graduate from university, two break ups and a dislocated elbow.

Celebrating my 22nd Birthday
July 2010
Chilling at Disney
November 2010
Graduation
October 2009

After everything that this year has thrown at me regarding health and love life.
I thought "What would Beyoncé do?"
Okay so I didn't think that but I did think I need a new look.
So what does every girl do after what's happened to me?
Well of course we cut our hair and colour it!

So after trailing through photos of the latest celeb haircuts and trends
I decided I wanted to go red!
Now I'm not talking a ginger shade of red I'm talking a mahogany shade that catches the light
And looks extra shiny!
Think Cheryl Cole a la X Factor years!

Before
Bye Bye Goldie Locks

So off I went with all my plans set out of how I wanted my hair to look and hey presto..
Necklace - Matalan
Top - American Apparel
Skirt - Topshop
Trainers - Nike Blazers

I got the colour I had my heart set out on as well as a fringe cut in!

This colour is perfect for blue eyes!
I've had a fringe before when I was so much more lazier with my hair care,
meaning it always looked a mess.
However I am now loving the fringe and know my rollers will come in good use to maintain its bounce.
Fringes are right on trend this season in the hair world with the likes of Millie Manders (Made in Chelsea) deciding to go for the chop!

I love my new hair colour and cut!
I can't wait to get experimenting with my make up to see what suits it as well as hairstyles themselves.

Who knows maybe this new look will attract a new man!
(Here's hoping)

Have you ever had a drastic hair change?
What celeb hairstyles are you loving at the moment?
Let me know in the comments.

Until Next Time...

My Favourite Make Up Brand - #BritishBloggerSelection

Hello Little Ones,

Today's topic on the #BritishBloggerSelection is
"My Favourite Make Up Brand"

Now this wasn't a hard one to decide!
It is MAC Cosmetics!
I think a lot of people will agree with me on this one.

MAC Cosmetics are, I would say the top end of
the high street brands but also cross over into the high end
cosmetics category also.

I'm going to show you guys my MAC products that I
currently own and how I wear them.

Studio Fix Fluid - SPF 15
in NC30
£21.50
This is my go to foundation that I wear on a daily basis.
I find the coverage really good as well as it being excellent for buffing into
the skin with my Real Techniques Buffing Brush.

Mineralize Skinfinish Natural
in Give Me Sun!
£22.00
I use this as my bronzer.
I know it's not supposed to be used as bronzer but as a setting powder;
however I find it as a perfect shade to make it seem like I have a bit of a tan on my face.
It stays on perfectly all day also, which is an added bonus!

Iridescent Powder Loose
in Silver Dusk
£20.00
This powder has a shimmer in it, perfect over the festive period.
I love using this as a highlighter over my cheek bone on a night out,
or mixing a slight amount with my foundation to give it a shimmer quality.

Pro Longwear Paint Pot
in Tailor Grey
£15.00
This eye shadow is brilliant!
It goes on in a creamy texture and dries brilliant, perfect as an base
colour then blending a gold or burgundy colour in the crease.
I would recommend this highly to anyone.

Lipstick
in Plumful with Lustre Finish
£15.00
This is one of my go to autumn colours.
It's not a very deep colour and I would say its a more natural colour.
Perfect for when I'm going to work and don't want something to heavy.

Lipstick
in Chatterbox, Amplified Finish
£15.00
I love this bright pink lipstick.
I often wear this on nights out as I tend to stick to blacks or burgundies, outfit wise.
So by adding a splash of pink to my make up look this adds a bit more colour to me.

Lipstick
in Rebel, Satin Finish
£15.00
This was a purchase I'm so so happy I made a while back.
The infamous Rebel colour lipstick is a staple for me.
You often find I'm either wearing this or Rimmel's Kate Moss 107,
especially on a night out when I'm going for a more sultry look.
This would be my number one lipstick recommendation from MAC if you
are a lover of darker lip colours.

Swatch of the Lipsticks
Left to Right
Chatterbox
Plumful
Rebel
Eyebrows
in Fling
£13.00
Now both my Mum and I have tested this after being a firm lover
of all other MAC products.
However this eye brow pencil doesn't really go on that well!
We are persevering at the moment and hoping for a result one day!

Pro Palette
£6.50
Pro Palette Container
£14.00
Eye Shadow in Naked Lunch
Eye Shadow in Sumptuous Olive
Eye Shadow in Vanilla
All £10
This is my baby.
I'm currently putting together my wish list of all the MAC pro palette pans
that I want for my collection.
I love all this colours so much and love combining them also.
I tend to use the vanilla shade as a highlighter across the brow bone and in the corner
of both my eyes.
I would recommend if you're a big MAC eyeshadow fan to invest in a palette,
they come in various sizes also so if you can't stretch your budget
to a 15 pan one, there is a 4 and 2 option.

And that is it my favourite make up brand and all their products!

What is your favourite make up brand?
Do you have any of the products above or will you be investing in any?
Let me know in the comments!!

STK London - Restaurant Review

Hello Little Ones,

Last Friday I finally got to go to one of my lusted after restaurants.
STK - London.
STK is renowned for being a trendy steak restaurant situated inside
London's ME Hotel on The Strand.
With previous diners such as Rochelle from The Saturdays & Sam Faiers from TOWIE
its safe to say that this place must be good!

After receiving an email from Bookatable.com
stating that they had a deal with STK of three courses including a glass of wine
for £25, how could I say no!
I instantly forwarded the email to my chums and got us booked in!

On arrival your breath is simply taken away by the elegant décor
and the twinkling lights.
Our coats were whisked off us and into the cloakroom, instantly making you feel more relaxed.

After ordering our three courses we were given some complimentary bread, which
was so tasty. Only a sign of better things to come!
The chive oil dip was to die for!
The bread was brush with a cheese glaze over the top which instantly made your mouth water.

This was one of the starters that was one offer
and as you can see the presentation is beautiful!
Almost like being on Masterchef!
I went for the alternate option of smoked duck and poached duck egg,
I couldn't get enough of it!
Everything about it was perfection.

Next up was the main courses!
And of course all of us went for the steak!
How could we not when dining in one of the trendiest steak restaurants in London?
We each ordered an extra side of Parmesan Truffle Fries to go alongside
our New York Strip with their STK sauce.

Now I forgot to take a photo of my steak because I was too excited
to eat it!
But I will tell you this it was the tastiest steak I've ever had,
and I eat a lot of steak.
The fries were just as you would want them to be,
crispy on the outside
and
fluffy on the inside.
Perfect!

And finally I give you desert!
This was something that I could only describe as out of the mind of
Willy Wonka himself.
A deep chocolate fondant with popping candy fizzing in your mouth,
it only left me wanting more!

Overall the atmosphere and the food was outstanding.
With the tunes keeping you dancing in your seat and the food making your mouth water
you can only begin to understand why
is one of the trendiest restaurants in London right now.
If you're looking somewhere different for a girls night out, a date
or a birthday meal;
I would definitely recommend STK.

I can't wait to get back there to try more of their menu!

What's your favourite place to eat in London?
Will you be trying STK next time your in London?
Let me know in the comments.

Until next time..

My 2013 Winter Wishlist - All For Under £5!

Hello Little Ones,

Today I'm going to be showing my Winter Wish list!
Now it's only very small as I've decided to this on a budget.
Each item has to be under £5.

After trawling through websites looking for good quality clothing
that come into my budget I stumbled across a site called
This website has a whole range of clothing, footwear and accessories all for under £5.
Now that is what I call a bargain!

These are the three items I loved the best!
(From Left to Right)
We all know my love for the colour burgundy and this jumper is the classic cable knit design!
Perfect for a cosy casual day, paired with some uggs and a leather jacket.
Definately onto a winner there.

For ages my friends and family have been hearing me say I really want some printed jeans.
And this jeans are perfect.
With flower detailing in the bright blues, greens and pinks these would be an ideal way to brighten up your winter wardrobe.
Just because it is cold outside doesn't mean you have to stick to those dark dull colours.
I love the jumper with the jeans also, makes the outfit complete for these winter months.
And £10 for the whole outfit! WOW!!!

Now the last item I loved will probably come as no shock!
Look its a sheer shirt with a collar.
I love the colour of this item and it would look great with a high waisted black skirt for work.
With more after work drinks happening as Christmas draws nearer this would be ideal for the office to bar situation.

www.justfor5pounds.com
I would highly recommend checking out their website!
Just click on the picture above and you can also follow just for £5 on
and

I'm off to place my order now...

Until Next Time...

My Winter Look Book - Part Two

Hello Little Ones,

I'm back with Part Two of My Winter Look Book!
I've loved reading all your comments from Part One,
so I can't wait to what you all think of Part Two!
Let's get going!

Outfit Four - The Leggings & Jumper Combo
Jumper - Primark
Leggings - Florence & Fed by Tesco
Pumps - Primark

Shirt - H & M
Watch - Marc Jacobs
This is one of my cosy about the house or doing some errands outfits.
I love the fact the leggings have a leather panel running down the side of each leg,
as well as them being a thick material that you know your underwear wont show throw like
most other cheap leggings.
Thrown on with a thick knit jumper and some cute pumps makes this outfit
perfect for those about the house days.

Outfit Five - The Christmas Shorts

Cardigan - Primark
Tee - Primark
Shorts - Topshop
Shoes - Primark
Belt - Primark

Necklace - Forever 21
I love this little outfit.
It's perfect for a night out during the festive period.
These shorts are too die for! With their shiny silver and white design they
instantly make you feel festive!
Because the shorts are such a bright shiny pattern, I've kept the top simple with
a black tee paired with a fluffy black cardi over the top.
Pulling it in at the waist with a belt and adding the necklace and wedges
instantly make you ready to paint the town red.

Outfit Six - The Christmas Shirt

Shirt - Dorothy Perkins
Disco Pants- River Island

Wedges - Linzi.com
This shirt is amazing!
It has tiny beaded snowflakes on it that make it perfect for Christmas.
I love styling this shirt for the office or wearing it like the outfit above.
Pairing with the disco pants instantly makes me look like I'm ready
to hit up a few bars and knock back a couple of mulled wines.
Disco pants are my new best friends at the moment...
I'm constantly looking at ways to dress them up as well as down.
And I prefer them so much more than leggings!

And that's all my looks that I am loving this winter!
What are your winter staples?
What is your favourite outfit from my look book?
Let me know in the comments!

Until next time...
