Hi Little Ones,

However I have a few things planned and I'm going to try and get into a weekly, maybe twice weekly if your lucky, posts.

So please stay tuned and follow me on twitter, Instagram and Bloglovin to keep up to date with all my little wonders!

The September Issue - Day Eighteen

Hello Little Ones,

We are well over half way now, I can't believe it!

Today's outfit is a little boring as its only one item and is a typical work dress!

Necklace - Forever 21
Cardigan - New Look
Dress - Primark

I got up late this morning so this dress fell out my wardrobe and I instantly went "You'll do!"
I do love the colour of this dress but as I've lost quite a bit of weight recently it's starting to get a bit big for me! Which is great on one hand but also not on another!

I love the peplums on this dress as well!

And that's it today!

Remember to get involved so you can be part of the giveaway at the end of the month!

Until next time...

The September Issue - Day Seventeen

Hello Little Ones,

Yes there was no post for yesterday and I do apologise.
However I was feeling utterly horrid and just ended up curled up in bed watching YouTube!

But I'm back!
And ready for the last two weeks of The September Issue!

Cardigan - Primark
Dress - Primark
Belt - Primark

I love the lace collar on this dress so much!
It's one of my go to outfits on days where I can't be bothered to think in the mornings!
I realised the other week that Zoella also has this dress and it made me actually think "wow I actually must have some kind of fashion sense"
Stupid, I know!
But we all have days when we think what we are wearing isn't that great or on trend.

I also forgot about this cardigan until this morning, when I was rushing around trying to find a cardigan in my mess of a room. (I'm currently trying to pack for Ibiza and there is an explosion of winter and summer clothes everywhere)
This cardigan is nice and light as well as it being a bit different due to the patterning. Perfect for the office as the temperature is always changing!

And another outfit is done!
Right I'm off to pack ready for Ibiza on Saturday!
Oh yes that means there will be Ibiza posts coming your way soon!
I'm also trying to get a what's in my travel wash bag post done for you guys, so stay tuned for that!

The September Issue - Day Fourteen & Fifteen

Hello Little Ones,

I'm sorry that there was no posts over the weekend but catching up with old friends took main priority.
I had a fab time in Milton Keynes and was great to see Debs and Nic.

Saturday day was a casual affair we headed to GBK for some lunch and then a little look round some shops!

Shirt - Primark
Jeans - Topshop

These are my autumn jeans. They are a deep burgundy colour and for once are actually a perfect length for my little legs!

Then it was time to get ready for a night out on the town!

Top - Forever 21
Disco Pants -
Shoes - Linzi

I love my disco pants!!!
They are going to be worn to death I can feel it!
Not only are they really comfy but they pull you in as well! Perfect!
I will definitely be dressing them down as well with a pair of high tops and a baggy top tucked in!

Sunday I was, safe to say, hungover! So please excuse the selfie in the mirror!
It's quite bad!

Top - H & M
Jeans - Primark (same as day thirteen)

I love this top from H & M!
It's a beige colour with sequins all across the front!

I'm so sorry that this post is a bit short and the photos aren't great
But I'm not feeling too well at the moment!
Sad faces!

Until next time...

The September Issue - Day Thirteen

Hello Little Ones,

Oooo it's Friday the Thirteen!

Today I've been at work, as always, but I'm also in Milton Keynes as we speak to catch up with some old friends from university.
So stay tuned as the weekend will see some great outfits for you all!

Glasses - Emporio Armani (by Specsavers)
Necklace - Forever 21
Vest - H & M
Scarf - Oasis
Jeans - Primark
Boots - New Look

This outfit is a classic casual smart look, nothing is more clean cut that a white top and a pair of skinny jeans. As I'm heading away for the weekend I decided to pair them with the boots from day 8, to give me a bit of height.

The scarf was bought for me as a birthday present this year by two of my friends and I love it. One because of the colour and pattern and two because it is so long. However because of the bright pink in it you do have to pair it with quite a plain outfit.

That's today's outfit!
Sorry it's really short but I've only got a short amount of time to write today's post because of wanting to spend the evening catching up with my friends.

The September Issue - Day Twelve

Hello Little Ones,

Lets get started shall we?

Cardigan - Kate Moss for Topshop
Shirt - New Look
Skirt - H & M
Boots - Primark

Today it was all about the floral!
This skirt is actually really old and up until last night it was sitting in my eBay pile. However I spotted and was actually thinking why am I about to throw this away when floral is going to be a big trend this season.
I love colours on this skirt as they are so vivid and the silk material really gives it a good quality. I got quite a few compliments today regarding the skirt so it definitely made me feel like I made the right choice by not selling it on eBay.

Pairing it with a simple sheer shirt of a similar purple colour really pulled this outfit together. Sheer shirts and shirts in general have been really big over the spring/summer season and I don't see them fading out anytime soon.

And there we go another OOTD for you all!

The September Issue - Day Eleven

Hello Little Ones,

And we are at day eleven already!
This month seems to just be flying by!

I'm going to get started straight away with today's outfit!

Cardigan - Kate Moss for Topshop
Dress - H & M
Belt - Topshop
Boots - Primark

Yes once again I'm wearing H & M but what can I say they do good office wear! This dress I've had for ages and I also have it in black it's perfect for those I can't be bothered to make an effort days as I can literally throw it on and I'm ready to roll. I love that its a shirt style dress with a loose skater style skirt on it. As I've said before I do love a collar at the moment so this dress just ticks all the boxes for me. Hence why I have it in two colours.

The cardigan is really old but I can't bear to throw it away as I got in a sale in Topshop and is the only item I owned from the line Kate Moss designed. I love the material on this so much as you can see from the above photo it's got tiny shimmery circles on it giving it a wet look/leather style. It's really good quality also which is a bonus as even in the sale it still wasn't cheap!

And there we go another outfit is done!
We are getting through them!

The September Issue - Day Ten

Hello Little Ones,

And we've made it to day ten!
Wow who knew I had that many outfits!

The weather has really changed all of a sudden which means its now time to dig out your autumn coats and jackets!
Mac - George by Asda

I think it's essential for any working girl to have a mac in their wardrobe. It's perfect for spring and autumn and also is classic. This mac was a bargain, it's about two years old now but has lasted really well. Great for a supermarket fashion chain! What I love most about macs is that you can wear them casual as well as smart for work.

Shirt - H & M
Skirt - H & M

Oh look a sitting down photo today!

I was run off my feet today at work, so this snap was taken quickly.
I've said before about H & M being great for office wear that is on trend and I think this outfit is a perfect example. Nothing says office wear more than a pencil skirt and this one is perfect for me. The waist band on the skirt is black meaning it matches well when you wear black tights.

The shirt I love so much! I literally worn it to death since I've got it, both casual and for work. You can all probably guess why I love it, yes that's right it's the embellishments of the collar.

I think it's really cute and means no need for any necklace.

This outfit is a really simple classic office look that you can easily adapt. It's always good to have some work wear basics in your wardrobe that you can mix and match. Just like this skirt and shirt.

And that's another outfit done!

The September Issue - Day Nine

Hello Little Ones,

Another day, another outfit!
Is it me or do the weekends just fly by?

With the weather changing I'm having to start thinking about my winter work wardrobe a bit more as I'm still willing it to be summer.

Today's outfit is pretty simple but often gets a few compliments in the office.

Necklace - Primark
Dress - ASOS
Belt - Topshop
Bag - Mulberry
Shoes - H & M

I love the scallop detailing on the hem and the sleeves of this dress, I think it makes it a bit unusual. The colour is also right on trend for autumn/winter, I'm seeing a lot of dark reds, burgundy and purples around at the moment.

Statement necklaces have been big this summer and I'm still predicting big things for autumn for them. They are the perfect way of jazzing up an outfit and making it different.
This necklace from Primark was purchased for my recent holiday to Malia and I did get quite a lot of wear out of it. It really compliments this outfit due to the necklace coming down below the outfit and with it being transparent you can still see the colour of the dress!

And that's today's outfit!

Liebster Award!

Hello Little Ones,
I know two posts in one day when I'm currently posting everyday!
Boy I'm treating you all!

I was kindly enough to be nominated for a Liebster Award by
Lexi over on Introducing Lexi
Now when I first started blogging I saw this award going around and hoped one day I may get one!
I never thought it would be so soon, but I'm chuffed that I have!
So what is a Liebster Award?
It's basically a way of getting to know other bloggers and making friends within the blogging network!
It works by the basis of you telling your readers 11 facts about yourself, you then answer 11 questions that the person who has nominated you wants to know, this is then followed by nominating 11 blogs that you enjoy reading and give them 11 questions to answer.
So lets get started.

11 Random Lola Facts
1. I can't straighten my left arm (long story involving a charity bike ride)
2. I auditioned to play Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter films and made it to the last 5.
3. As weird as it may be the Queen is my ultimate style icon. She never gets it wrong.
4. I'm hoping to get a place in the 2014 London Marathon
5. I used to be a trained dancer up until my accident last year.
6. My favourite song at the moment is Katy Perry's Roar. It is so catchy.
7. I enjoy cocktails and wine way too much.
8. I'm allergic to bananas.
9. My role model is Lauren Conrad.
10. I'm addicted to Twitter and Instagram.
11. I got the name Lola from my friends due to the song "Copacobana" as I was the only one out of our group who studied dance.

And here are the 11 questions Lexi asked me!
1. Bright colours or pastel shades?
Bright colours my wardrobe would say even though I love my pastel pinks and blues.
2. Have you ever met a famous person?
I've been lucky enough to meet quite a few! My number one being David and Victoria Beckham.
3. What is your greatest achievement to date?
I would have to say passing my degree in Choreography and Dance.
4. How long have you been blogging?
Only 3 months. After getting out of a long term relationship I thought about what I wanted to do and what I enjoyed and this was one of them!
5. High heels or flat shoes?
My heart and eyes say high heels, my feet disagree after 4 hours of wearing them!
6. What's your favourite smell?
At the moment it is Soap and Glory's Sugar Crush body wash and moisturiser. It has a lime citrus scent to 8it that is heavenly and makes me smile.
7. Who do you admire the most?
I would have to say my mum after all that she has done for me.
On a celebrity scale though it would have to be Demi Lovato. After everything she has gone through the motto "stay strong" could not help me anymore sometimes.
8. Favourite film of all time?
Breakfast at Tiffany's
I love Audrey Hepburn in this film as well as the fashion and the jewellery, the fact it also has a love story just makes it my ultimate film.
9. Where is your favourite place in the world?
I would have to say anywhere that my closest group of friends are. You could lock us in a porterloo and we would still have the best time in the world.
10. Do you have a secret talent?
I actually don't think I do.
That makes me a little sad really.
11. What is your biggest fear?
Not being able to afford my own house and have someone to share it with.
Also snakes...they scare the crap out of me!

These are the 11 blogs that I've enjoyed reading lately!

And here are my 11 questions to you!

1. Favourite song of the moment?
2. What's the first thing you do when you wake up?
3. Bags or Shoes?
4. You've got £10 to spend on one beauty product, what do you buy?
5. Who is your role model?
6. Favourite high street shop?
7. Do you live by any mottos or mantras?
8. What beauty product can you not live without?
9. What was your first word as a baby?
10. What is your favourite blog to read?
11. What is your best blogging tip to give new bloggers?

There we have it!
That's the Liebster Award!
Thanks so much Lexi for nominating me, its been fun writing this post and I'm looking forward to seeing what the responses will be!

Until next time...

The September Issue - Day Eight

Hello Little Ones,

So we are now a week into The September Issue and I hope you've all been enjoying reading the posts as much as I have posting them! It's really made me think about the items in my wardrobe and how to use them to make them on trend for this season!

Today's outfit I think is personally is quite a rocky/indie style, which I think is they style that suits me and my personality the best. And I'm sure my friends would agree also with this!
Today we have some people over for Sunday lunch, as well as going to the golf club for a few drinks before!

Hat - Topshop
Sunglasses - Roxy (prescription by Specsavers)
Dress - Topshop
Shirt - Forever 21
Necklace - Primark
Boots - New Look

This outfit came to me in the middle of the night when I woke up, I know random but I do often think of outfits in the middle of the night. This dress is perfect as a base for many casual outfits like this one or even on its own dressed up for a night out.
This style I really thinks suits me and my personality down to a T! I'm loving this hat as well at the moment and it will definitely be coming with me to Ibiza in two weeks!
Yes that means there is going to be a special Ibiza edition of The September Issue!!

This bag is perfect for weekends. It's got the same design as the Chanel quilted bags which I love, but the leopard buckle detailing on this bag makes it a bit different!

I've had this necklace for a while now but haven't really had the perfect outfit to wear it with. A lot of celebrities like Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Benson and Nicole Richie have been seen wearing similar things. I love the simplicity of it and think it makes the outfit complete.

Onto my favourite outfits of the week...

So from left to right

1. @nikkeferguson
This is one of my besties from school all ready for her birthday meal. I love the print on this dress so much and think its a perfect outfit for a birthday family meal!
Dress -
Necklace - Miss Selfridge
Bag - Mulberry
Shoes - New Look

2. @nicolamitch_1
Another one of my besties all dressed up for a meal with her close friends. I love this oversize clutch, the colour really adds to the outfit as well as it being able to fit everything you need for a night out.
Top - Forever 21
Jeans - Zara
Bag - Forever 21
Shoes - New Look

3.  @jennykaluka
One again another of my besties, in a casual look. These baseball print tees have been big this season specially if they are oversized like this one. It's perfect for a casual feel and works well like Jenny is wearing with shorts.
Tee - Glamour
Shorts - Bershka
Necklace - Primark

And that is today's outfit as well as a round up of my favourite outfits I've received throughout the week!

The September Issue - Day Seven

Hello Little Ones,

I'm sorry if today's post is a bit rubbish but my Internet has died a sad death today so I'm writing on my iPad through the mobile connection!

Anyways onto today's outfit!
Today I had a lunch planned at a local pub with a few of my close friends, we have been making more time for each other lately and have planned so much to do for the rest of the year! Just because summer has nearly finished doesn't mean the fun should!

Glasses - Roxy (prescription from Specsavers)
Necklace - Primark
Top - River Island
Trousers - Primark
Shoes - Nike Blazers from ASOS

Prints have been another big thing this season. We've had Aztec, stripes and many more. I love the paisley print on these trousers and with them being a black and white colour it makes the simple and easy to dress. The key with patterns I always think is to make the other half of your outfit simple, hence why I paired them with a plain black silk racer back top. This top is often my go to for when I want something plain but looks better than a cotton vest top.
My Nike Blazers have been worn to death, they were given to me as a Christmas present last year and I love the colour of them so much. These just added a splash of colour to the outfit.

Accessories wise I decided on a chunky gold chain from Primark, this toughens up the outfit a little.

Lipstick is Plumful from MAC Cosmetics one of my favourites at the moment!

Midi Ring - Topshop
Ring - Dorothy Perkins

Midi rings are the in thing at the moment and I love the Aztec design on this one. The chunky chain ring matches the necklace perfectly and sometimes nothing looks better than matching jewellery!

And that's today's outfit!

The September Issue - Day Six

Hello Little Ones,

On Friday's at work we have dress down day which means office wear can be left in the wardrobe and you can relax a little. However for me that doesn't mean my fashionista brain switches off.
Today's outfit was a struggle to pick out this morning as the weather said 48 hours of rain! I decided jeans would be the best option!
Top - Primark
Necklace - Dorothy Perkins
Belt - Primark
Jeans - Topshop
Boots - Primark

This are my comfiest jeans as they are more of a jegging type of material than denim, so they have a lot of stretch in them. I find buying jeans quite hard as I am so short so I often have to tuck them under or scrunch them up, something that I'm now quite used to.
I love this shirt! As I've said before I'm really loving collars at the moment so seem to be wearing a lot of shirts like this, specially if the collar has an embellishment. The collar on this top is of leather material and has a flower print cut out on it; which I think makes it super cute! Pairing it with the spike gold necklace underneath still adds an edge to the outfit which I like.

Due to the weather a coat and sturdy boots were needed. My trusty leather jacket from H&M that I practically wear all the time as my casual coat was my first and only choice. This jacket bang on trend right now, leathers have been quite big for the last few seasons and I predict that they will still be taking us through this autumn/winter.

The boots from Primark are really old and practically falling apart, but I can't bear to throw them away! Biker boots have been in this season however due to me having quite skinny ankles they often look like I've put on shoes 5 sizes to big for me. These boots are perfect as they are lace up and have a crochet pattern on the sides which I think adds to the boot. They are perfect for autumn and also look great with tights and a pair of shorts.

And that's today's outfit of the day!

The September Issue - Day Five

Hello Little Ones,

Today has been a busy day for me as I had a hospital appointment this morning as well as having to then go to work. So I went for something pretty basic this morning as I had a sore head from last nights cocktails!
Necklace - Forever 21
Jacket - Primark
Dress - Warehouse
Belt - Topshop
Tights - Tesco
Shoes - H & M

Every girl needs a staple black dress in their wardrobe. Be it for work, casual or going out. This is one of mine. It's a few years old now and was purchased after reading Lauren Conrad's style book and how to freshen up a black dress.
This dress is often my go to when I can't be bothered to piece together something in the mornings. I love the cap sleeves and neck line on this dress as well as it being complementary to my figure as it nips in at the waist. Always a good thing!

Once again I spiced up the outfit with this pink tweed biker style jacket from Primark. This adds a bit of colour to the overall outfit; however with today's weather I didn't even end up really needing it. This jacket was a steal as it was in a sale a few months ago, I think I only paid £8 for it, and I often wear it casual with some dark denim jeans and a white baggy vest.

This is one of my work colleagues Mo, he saw me taking pictures and wanted to join in!
His shirt and trousers are from Marks and Spencer's and shoes from Dune!

And that's today's outfit!

The September Issue - Day Four

Hello Little Ones,
I can't believe it's day four already!
Today's outfit is a little bit dressy for work but I'm off out for some cocktails tonight so thought "why the hell not?" when picking it out the wardrobe this morning.
Dress - ASOS
Cardigan - New Look
Belt - Topshop
Shoes - H & M
This burgundy colour has been big all season and I predict that it still will be for autumn.
What makes this colour even better is the fact that it suits all skin tones!
This dress was a last minute buy for a friends birthday drinks last year and I hadn't really taken it out the wardrobe much since then, until now! I love the lace detail on the bust area, with the underneath material being shaped in a sweetheart neckline this makes the dress cute without revealing too much cleavage!
Something you need to keep an eye on in a work enviroment.
I'm really into clothing with collars at the moment and the Peter Pan style collar on this dress just finishes the dress off perfectly.
Crazy look on my face!
The belt just brings the outfit all together I personally think.
It's actually taken from a playsuit from Topshop, but I love to take belts off other items of clothing and try them with different things!
Thats how I pretty much built up my belt collection.

And that's today's outfit!

The September Issue - Day Three

Hello Little Ones,
Welcome to Day Three!

Once again today was another working day, however with a heat wave apparently happening I thought why not still try and get wear out of some of my summer work dresses?
Necklace - Forever 21
Cardigan - New Look
Dress - H & M
Belt - Topshop
Bag - Zara
Shoes -

Now as I'm a curvy type of girl I tend to stick to these skater style dresses as they nip me in at the waist and by adding this studded belt from Topshop also adds to the effect. I love this dress as it works for both the winter and summer. Winter I can just add a pair of thick black tights with some ballerina pumps and it still works just as well.
With it being a bit chilly in my office due to the air con I find myself always bringing a cardigan with me and black seems to be my staple cardigan. This cardigan is one of my favourites as it is basic with full length sleeves. Perfect for nearly every outfit!

Watch - Marc by Marc Jacobs
Ring - Dorothy Perkins (part of a multi pack)
Belt - Topshop

Accessories really do help enhance an outfit and bring it into it's own. I'm loving this studded belt at the moment and try to pair it up with a lot of my outfits as studs are still a big trend at the moment.

These shoes are perfect for work during the summer! Only problem is that due to them being made of jelly/plastic they give you blisters all over! Hence the plaster you may be able to see. However I do love them quite a lot and as the saying goes "No Pain, No Gain." The bows on the shoes really just add to them and make them cute. also do these in a nude colour, perfect for that casual look!

And that's today's outfit!
Remember you can take part in The September Issue just use the hashtag on Twitter or Instagram

The September Issue - Day Two

Hello Little Ones,
Welcome to day two of The September Issue!

I'm going to get started on today's outfit straight away!

Necklace - Forever 21
Shirt - H&M
Trousers - H&M
Shoes - Primark
Bag - Mulberry

I find deciding what to wear to work difficult sometimes as working in an office I need to look smart but I also still wanting to be on trend without breaking my bank balance. Also being half asleep in the morning doesn't help sometimes!
H&M tend to fit this category really well as their clothing is reasonably priced and is always on trend with the current season.
Now I'm usually a skirt and dress person when it comes to work wear but I cleared my wardrobe out over the weekend in preparation for this month and found these trousers tucked away! I love the colour of these trousers as I often find black to be a tiny bit boring and looks like your going for an interview so these bring a splash of colour to the outfit without them being too much for the office.
Pairing the trousers with a plain white shirt keeps it classic and simple making it perfect for the office!

And that's today's outfit!
Remember you can take part in The September Issue by sending me your OOTD by Twitter or Instagram just use the hashtag #LLWsepissue

The September Issue - Day One

Hello Little Ones,
Welcome to Day One of The September Issue!

So what is The September Issue?
Basically it's OOTD everyday throughout September.
Like Vogue have their September Issue, this is mine!
This is going to be a challenge, as obviously I work Monday to Friday so there will be workwear as well as casual and nightwear!
If you want to take part in this bumper edition of Lola's Little Wonders, you can!
Just send me a photo of your OOTD either on Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag
I will be doing a weekly review of my favourite outfits that I get!
And at the end of the month one of you could win a special prize if your my ultimate
Lola's September Issue Outfit!

So on to today's outfit!

Today's look is rather casual as I have just popped out with my mum to our local golf club and then to Tescos.
With summer nearly being over I decided to get one last wear out of my pastels.

Headband - Accesorize
Necklace - Primark
Top - H&M
Jeans - Dorothy Perkins
Ring - Dorothy Perkins
Watch - Marc by Marc Jacobs
Bracelets - Various bands picked up over the summer
Bag - Primark
Shoes - Vans from Office

I love these jeans so much for the summer, one as they are so comfy. Something I think is really important for jeans! Two, I love the colour of them, pastels have been really big this year and the fact I bought this jeans a year ago makes me happy I've been able to get wear out of them again. And three, they are perfect ankle grazer length for me; as I'm really short I find Jeans are sometimes too long for me and have to roll them up.

My make is minimal today as I've not got much going on.
I use various brands including
- 17
- Rimmel
- Benefit
- Collection 2000

So that's todays outfit!
Remember if you want to join in with me then use the hastag
on Twitter and Instagram
so you can be in a chance of featuring on my blog as well as winning the overall prize at the end of the month!

Until next time..
